Sport Car feel

I am very happy with my Elantra GT. It looks like a small size car but it is very comfortable inside and roomier than other makes in this category. I used a rental on my last trip that was in the medium size category and my GT is more comfortable in space and drive that the rental was. It has things that attracted me to this model like real leather seats (not plastic) and the panoramic sunroof together with the sporty look and feel of this car.

Great Car

We have thoroughly enjoyed our Elantra. It is great to drive. Handles well, accelerates with easy and is surprisingly roomy. This is the second Elantra we have owned they have both been reliable and fun to drive. They new features on this Elantra make it a truly great value.

Incredibly versatile

Easily the best car I've ever owned. Incredibly versatile, economical, with more features than you'd get in a comparable competitor's vehicle. Particularly like the suspension and the fact that it's disc brakes all the way around! The fact that Hyundai uses discs instead of drum brakes is extremely important to me.

2013 Hyundai Elantra GT

I bought a Elantra GT new, with the moon roof and leather interior, in a 6-speed manual transmission. I love it. The acceleration isn't fast, but fast enough, and the vehicle otherwise is really responsive and fun to drive. I work in San Francisco and live in the north bay, and I open up the moon roof every time I cross the Golden Gate Bridge!

Nice little run about with crossover space inside

I drove my 2013 Elantra GT cross country with a big box on the roof. No issues. The car (at least the 2013 model) is not as peppy as Mazda 3/Focus rentals that I have driven. It does handle more like an European car. The MPG is off anywhere btw 10-20% from the advertised numbers (even with the adjusted lower numbers). The cabin space is big and the utility of the hatchback is great! I can fit all my tennis class equipment in the back with the back seat down. The front and center console is nice and clear with lots of space to put your iPhone's, glasses, etc. The OEM tires are not so great and get loud on below average roads. Overall, given the features, the price, the warranty, and the so-far-so-good driving experience, I would buy another again.

Pros and Cons

My vehicle has served me well since I purchased it 12/2013. I am glad I bought it. There does seem to be a problem with the finish which I just noticed as I was waxing the car. There are quite a few whitish pitted spots. I will deal with the dealer when I return from vacation.

2013 Elantra Gt

I love my little car. It's comfortable and easy to zip around town in. I also drive 20 minutes one way to work on the highway and it handles nicely. My only wish would be better gas mileage, but it does have adequate power to get me out of tight situations.

2013 Hyundai elantra gt.

This car has all the features that were necessary for me. I used to have a Honda Civic CX hatchback and when it had to be replaced, I knew I wanted another hatchback. After all my research, I decided on the Elantra GT. I am a volunteer camp RN and this car carried 4 boys, myself and all our supplies, sleeping bags, pillows, etc for a whole week at camp. WOW!

Decent, reliable transportation

The 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT is a competent but fairly unexciting car. Its versatility is a plus, but the underpowered engine ensures that the driving experience is ho-hum. There are no advanced safety features, and the headlights are quite poor.

Lovin my car

Handles well, very reliable. Comfortable (even for a taller, larger person), decent mpg. Easy/cost effective to maintain. Take care of it, it will take care of you (as will Hyundai)!

The Elantra GT is a well designed and produced car. The features are well placed such as the buttons on the steering wheel. The gear shift is easy to use. Doors close gently and firmly. There is a first aid bag in the trunk. A nice touch.
