A dependable and smartly packaged daily!

I bought my 2013 Elantra GT used in 2022 with 40k miles and put a further 10k miles on it since then, mainly city driving and the occasional highway run. It's been fabulous! Power is a bit low but for a car like this, it should be no surprise and its rarely been an issue. It's trump card however is definitely its size and packaging! Easy to park and easy to drive in traffic, I love this car on my daily commute to university. MPG usually is around 25-27 however this is almost 90% city driving. If I could go back in time and choose a car again, it would still be this!

2013 Elantra

This car has been amazing. Kept up with service and have had only one out-of-the-ordinary repair involving a part in the steering column. There are 57000 miles since 2013 and it's in great condition.

Love this car.

I have had my GT for almost for two and a half years, I still love it. Drives great, limited noise, comfortable and good gas mileage. Love the blue color and the tri color interior.

Hyundai Elantra GT

I liked it. I had every upgrade available, which made it quite a fun and comfortable ride. The Bluetooth mic definitely needs an improvement and Bluelink is for the birds. The operator doesn't always answer and it will just continue ringing forever... Frustrating. Overall great car.

Good but not great

While I like my vehicle overall, I do wish there was not an annoying engine noise — a loud metal on metal clicking — that is evident especially during the first 10 minutes after starting up. It make the car sound as if it needs some serious work or is simply cheap. Perhaps some better engine compartment insulation would have solved the problem. I also wish the rear visibility were better and that the blind spots were not as severe as they are. Since this was the first year of this model, I suspect that some of the rough spots have been smoothed in subsequent years.
