Good all-around vehicle.

Good all-around vehicle. This is our only car so it is used for trips, shopping, cargo hauling. Complaints: rear seats don't fold down flat, body gets dings easily, gas mileage could be better. Favorable: quiet and comfortable ride, good dashboard features and layout, great warranty, great service at dealership. Overall, satisfied with vehicle; purchased in April, 2013, 42, 800 miles.

Just as good, if not better.

I love my Elantra, I used to have a Nissan Versa and loved the fact that it was small and good mileage. My Elantra is better because it has the technology upgrade that I didn't have in my Versa. I only gave it 4 stars because I've only had it for a couple of months and haven't had to deal with the mechanical aspect just yet. However, so far so good.

Affordable sporty luxury

I've had my Elantra GT for 4 years and have been quite happy with it. It is the second GT I have owned and have had not mechanical issues other than routine maintenance. There are many great features that are ok included such as leather interior, heated seats, GPS and blue link . I really enjoyed blue link features such as remote starting, although when it was time to renew I could not afford the subscription. The Elantra GT is not great in snow although getting good tires makes a world of difference. The only other downside is the acceleration on the highway was. It can be a bit sluggish but once at speed it maintains the speed and rides nicely. A great car at a reasonable price!

2013 Elantra GT

Although I was aware that this vehicle was relatively low priced and bought as a point A to point B commuter vehicle, I was disappointed in the paint finish quality and predicted gas mileage figures. Any painted areas that are not exposed to view (i.e. under the hood, in the door and hatch jams) were not given a clear coat resulting in hard to clean areas over time. Also the predicted gas mileage figures on the price sticker were way out of line. I have never achieved the predicted maximum highway mileage of 37 MPH...even down long hills on expansive highways. I did notice that the mileage number was reduced for the next year Elantra GT purchase sticker. I must admit that I do have 64K miles on my particular Elantra GT and it has not presented any major problems as of yet.

Daughter loves it.

She has stolen it from me and I feel safe letting her! Sporty with lots of head room. Stylish from the outside and dependable. Know my daughter will not be stranded somewhere and has the handling to assist in all driving situations.

Rolling down the highway

Great car, great interior and outward styling. Quality was great. The low profile tires are not reliable and the ones it came with were the 2nd worse tires I have ever purchased. I got less than 18,000 miles on the stock tires, they all failed with bulges on the sides and tire manufacturer did nothing.

Let me introduce you to my Zippy. I bought this car in 2015 and have been very happy with it. I will admit I removed the headrests from the backseats because I felt they were a visual barrier. But this little car has been asked to do a lot and has not disappointed me.

This car is great in all points especially getting around town easily. Although on the smaller end and can be a little uncomfortable for an older person i have enjoyed driving and the mileage i receive is excellent

2013 Elantra, new to me!

My loaner was a new 2017 Mazda M5. It had only 259 miles on it. I liked the car but had a few issues. The claimant control system had a better layout in the Elantra. The engine on the M5 would growl when slowing down at a stop, enough so that a couple of times I would look around to see what other cars had pulled up around me. The seats in the Elantra seemed a little more comfortable. Don't get me wrong, the M5 was nice but I am glad to be back in my 2013 Elantra GT. Bought it used in 2018 with 56000 miles. Daughter has a 2001 we bought her 2009 with 101,000 miles. She still has it and it has 265,000 on it now.

Hyundai Elantra GT safe and reliable

This is our second Hyundai Elantra GT that we have owned. Our first one was totaled in an accident. Fortunately, the driver walked away from the accident with no injuries. The Hyundai Elantra GT is a very safe vehicle and sure withstood the test during the accident. That is why we decided to replace it with another GT Elantra. Overall, the car is comfortable to drive and is a real value for the money. We are satisfied with the vehicles overall performance.

Pretty darn good for the money

I have had no real issues with my car in the last 4 years since I purchased it. If I had one concern, it would be comfort. The seats could be far more comfortable than they are. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with the car.
