Handles very well

Handles well even in the winter. I had a Mini Cooper before and this handle quite similar. Its a little bigger obviously, but rides well and still fun to drive.

I love hatchbacks.

Almost everything about the hatchback is a "win" for me. I've owned three different kinds of them. They are good for people of short stature, allowing us to access the trunk area with ease. I especially appreciate the cargo cover so trunk items cannot be seen. The car handles well but sometimes the gears shifting up and down as speed varies is a bit disconcerting. I like the daytime running lights. The generous warranty offered by Hyundai also is a plus. I like the overall looks of the car also, very attractive.

Sporty

A great car for the money! The one drawback for me is it's my only vehicle and though it handles well on the road and is fun to drive, in the winter it has been a disaster! The car sits too low to the ground and easily gets stuck in the snow. I never had that experience before.The car is also much too light and the tires do not perform well at all on snowy or slick roads. My Santa Fe was a much better choice all around for the Long Island environment! I'm looking into a trade in. Probably go back to the Santa Fe or similar model.

Love my GT

This car is amazing! I can travel anywhere!! Seats all fold to flush, able to pack anything in there! Along with a hatch back is so helpful. The car is sporty and perfect! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a car. not to mention the Bluetooth, heated seats, and much more.

We were in need of a reliable car, and my son had recommended Hyundai. We absolutely love our Elantra GT. It does not have a small car feel - and is very comfortable for long rides as well as scooting around town. We drove it to Kansas and will be taking it to Tennessee soon. It has plenty of get up and go, is very easy on gas, and it's classy looking. We love the hatch back and would get another one in a minute. Highly recommended car. Also holds four adults very comfortably. We don't do that too often, usually it's us and our pooch, but we have, and my son is tall at 6'9" and his wife is tall also, and we all fit just fine. Love this car!

The Elantra Gt is very disappointing.

I waited so long to graduate from the lower level of an Hyundai Accent for nothing. This Elantra GT has given more problems than any car . I wish it was possible to get back my Accent.

Elantra GT

I love driving my GT. It is my second GT after a deer hit my 2014. The upgrades on the 2016 are even better. Boucher is a great place to purchase and service a Hyundai. Additionally, when I had the deer incident, they were so helpful in taking the damaged car, getting me a loaner and then a new GT 2 weeks later.
