Underperformer

Interior is adequately Comfortable. Bouncy, hard ride with shifting up sluggish. Enjoyed the extras such as power roof & Bluelink. Bluetooth stopped working. Would not recommend this car. Would not buy this again.

Fun to drive

GT is easy to enter and exit, fun to drive and gets positive comments on it's looks! Heated seats are a plus. I'm not sure why it needs 173 HP engine, because I don't see it as a real sports car. Engine gives you a quick start, but is lean on top end pick up. Even with adjustment to sports mode, I'm not confident it would handle well if challenged by a 'sporty' road course. Still, it's quick and easy to enter hi-speed roadways, handles and brakes well, I would recommend to beginner and senior drivers. If I had to choose over, I'd get a smaller HP engine to achieve better gas mileage. My ex has a 9 year old Kia 4 cylinder Specter with similar 'enter the turnpike speed', but better gas mileage. Take away - your basic engine is very good!!!

It is great on mileage and love the heated seats as well as camera for reversing etc. However, the seats are not the most comfortable and space is fairly limited. Also, the engine is one of the loudest I have ever experienced.

My Hyundai 2016 GT

This marvelous car was purchased on June 15, 2015 straight off the delivery truck ... drives like a dream and I named it "God's Property" because I knew nothing about Hyundai and a friend took me to Preston Hyundai in Boardman, OH thinking it was a Honda dealership as I was shopping for a 2015 new base model Honda Fit. The woman who took care of me said she did not have a Honda Fit but did have a car that looked just like it and had the salesman bring the Elantra GT in. When I saw the car color was black I said "ewwww a black car?" She (her name is Angel & the salesman's name is Ron) said just come & look at the inside ... I did and THAT made my day. So since God did this ... He made the choice for me & that's why I named the car God's Property ... it is ... I am and to God be the glory!!!

Grill is a bit too large, Seats aren't as comfortable as they could be.

Good performance, Grill is a bit too big and the headrest is angled about an inch too far forward.
