Elantra GT

Great car value. Claremont Hyundai staff was friendliy and courteous. The purchase process took less time that expected, but still took too long, even with our excellent credit. The free lifetime oil change and car wash is a great perk to our ownership experience

Great car for the price

Enjoy my car. I enjoy my car driving . This car has adequate performance for a compact car. This car has enough room for four people to ride in.The performance is great however the gas mileage can be improved.

Love my new vehicle. Purchased a elantra gt year 2018. Replaced a elantra limited sedan year 2016. Happy with purchase . Not happy with service after sale.i do not like having to put 200 words in this space. Really boring................

2018 Elantra GT Sport an excellent replacement for my 2014 Veloster Turbo

Overall, this car fits all my needs. I traded in my 2014 Veloster Turbo and wanted something with similar performance, but with a usable rear seat and four doors. The Elantra GT Sport was the perfect fit. Same 1.6 liter turbo from the Veloster, but mated to a 7 speed DCT instead of a traditional automatic. I can't say enough about how well the car performs. It performs very similar to my old VT but with more grown up styling and a truly usable back seat. If you are looking to replace your VT with a more family friendly vehicle, but do not want to loose your "fun to drive" feeling and performance, I would suggest taking a look at the Elantra GT Sport.

Perfect Small Car

I wasn’t looking to buy Hyundai but my salesman Brandon asked to give it a try and I test drove the Kona and the Elantra GT and ithe Elantra was the Perfect Little Big Car for me, love the design,the interior is perfect, Navigation Screen great, the ride it self fantastic, I’d urge anyone who hasnt experienced a Hyundai give it a try and see what you might be missing and just might love, I did . I was a Nissian girl but sold on the Hyundai Elantra GT for sure. And information shoppers out there great room and spacious.

First Car and I couldn’t be happier

I am new to car buying but this car is everything I could have asked for. I purchased the ultimate package so I have the upgraded speakers, heated/cooling seats and the panoramic sun roof. No issues (4 months 3000 miles in).

My hyundai elantra GT

The performance of the Elantra GT far exceeded my expectations. The car is a blast to drive, gas mileage is top notch and the overall design of the car is very impressive. I would have gotten the elantra or the sonata with the turbo BUT none of those were available. I suggest more turbo models need to be available for purchase.

Best little car ever. Funny to drive sporty and great on gas. Get lots of compliments on the exterior and interior. Love using the cooled seats I. The summer and love the panoramic roof. Love driving it in sport mode

Bad little pocket rocket

I went to initially buy the Sonata but saw, test drove and bought the Elantra gt sport. The turbo spools up nicely and it makes it easy to get in and out of rush hour traffic. Great for short trips and even moderate ones.

A Refined, Peppy Car That I Enjoy Driving So Far...with A Few Suggested Improvements

I've only had the car since May 2018 but I've found that it has added some welcome refinements over my 2004 Hyundai Elantra GT. It has more power, better braking, and sportier handling which make it fun to drive. Fuel economy seems to be better than EPA estimates. From a design standpoint, the low exposed cheap plastic grill is easily damaged because their is no protective bumper; Hyundai has to replace that with a more resilient hard rubber grill -- maybe with a sensor that beeps when SUVs with trailer hitches back into it. I was also disappointed that it didn't have a CD player and some of the safety features that are standard on the comparable Corolla hatchback. Not crazy about the low profile tires, but they lower the center of gravity and improve cornering so they may be a useful trade-off.

Riding

The vehicle is very comfortable to ride in and gets great gas mileage. Large enough inside to fit both our large dogs in comfortably. Really like dash features and leg room. Fits four adults, have not tried five as yet but assume would do well on short trips. Holds great on wet roads .

AN Unexpected "Gem"

This little hatchback is a real gem. I have now put 5600 miles on it over several months and it is always a pleasure to use it wherever and whenever I go on the road. I turned to this model after trading in a Nissan Juke which was o.k. but the Juke didn't have the "oomph" of this engine and it seemed a little clumsier. Everything is still working well on the Elantra "sport" and my only "nit" about it is that Hyundai might have spent a little more on sound-deadening materials for it since road noise can be annoying. I would be willing to spend a little extra to get this. But I am convinced there is no better car of this type on the market today. I forgot to mention that it holds as much cargo as my old Jeep Cherokee--- maybe even more. And the warranty is most excellent!

GT is awesome

My Elantra GT is awesome. A reapnosive 2.0 with sport mode makes it a fast compact. Comfortable and roomy. Love it!!! Great styling, the shifting in sport mod is racer and fun. Comfortable seats for with tons of features.

I test drove a few other models but I originally liked the car I purchased and after driving the other cars, decided I liked the Elantra best. Traded in a Lancet that was 4 wheel drive but wanted a hatchback for easy access to place items.

I checked these cars out online. When I got to the dealer I knew what I wanted and the color I wanted. I test drove it and loved it. It's fun to drive. I'm impressed with the power it has for a 1.6 cylinder. I've had alot of compliments on this car.
