2018 Hyundai Elantra GT

We bought our Elantra GT after our 2016 Chevrolet Sonic LS was totalled.TJ Klinkowicz, Internet Sales Manager at GreatvLakes Hundai worked with us and our less than perfect credit and got us a decent loan. The car itself has better equipment, driving dynamics and fantastic fuel mileage. We love our Elantra GT. I have only seen one other around town, which is a shame since they are great driving cars.

The best car I've had

This car is fast and sporty. I love the look of it from the first time I saw it! The comfort of the seats is awesome. The driver's seat hugs you! I'll have this car until the wheels fall off. Love it!

Fun well built and wonderful car

This car is well equipped from the base unit and up. The engine is fun, fast and efficient. I love driving once again and would recommend this car and this brand to everyone. Their service is great, sales people knowledgeable and listen to your every question.

Elantra

I bought this car to upgraded space from a 2 door civic. I was expecting my first child. I wanted to go with a crosstrek but they convinced me that this will be better on gas. No not really the truth I find. Also there is no space to put anything. When I have the carseat in the car the front seat is very hard to sit in. Over all not happy.

Excellent vehicle... Enjoyable to drive, comfortable, very quiet.. exceptional acceleration with great gas mileage. Good visibility. Stylish... good trunk space. I highly recommend this vehicle and will look to buy another when the time comes.

2018 elantra gt sport

Great car. Great price. Best warranty. Quick get up. Road noise is loud. Transmission slips a bit and acceleration is a little laggy. Gas mileage is decent. Radio is nice but speakers could be better.

Elantra GT

Prior purchasing the Elantra I was driving a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500, at that time I was receiving a gas allowance from my former employment. At 10-11 miles per gallon driving in town I looked for a vehicle with better gas mileage and sporty, found it in the 2018 Elantra GT.

I ditched my crossover for this.

I realized I didn't need AWD, nor cared for its higher ride height BUT still wanted the same practically and comparable cargo capacities. I wanted a fun turbo car, manual transmission, similar cargo capacity and driving dynamics of a proper car. Enter the 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT Sport hatchback. A bit shy of being a GTI killer but when looking at what you get for what you pay? Oh yeah, it's a GTI killer in my eyes.

Awesome car!

This is my third Hyundai and I wouldn't get any other car! My first was a 1989 Hyundai Excel which I had for 11 years, my second a 2000 Hyundai Accent that I had for 19 years! I decided it was time to get something new. I absolutely LOVE this car, it's awesome, very smooth riding and I love the heated seats! The hatchback is great, too!

I love my Hyundai!

I have loved all my Hyundai, I have owned now 5 Hyundai’s. My first was a used Scoupe, a Santa Fe, a new Triburon, new Sonata and now the new Elantra GT. I have the feeling of great safety when driving these cars! Even at this late age if I choose to buy a new car, it will be a Hyundai.

Fun car, maybe needs a little maturing

Fun car with lots of features. The Sport version with the 1.6 turbo is super quick, with just a little bit of turbo lag that can be annoying at times. Love how the car looks and it's fun to drive. At low speeds, the transmission seems to glitch and will be delayed getting into gear. At the dealership they told me it's like that with dual clutch transmissions and I'm wondering if this is something that can be improved. I would also love to see a larger engine version. Fuel efficiency is great, I get ~27mpg on average with lots of city driving. I don't understand why I don't see this car more, I hope they don't discontinue it.

Great Car for Reasonable price

I got this car after my previous Hyundai served me for a long time with many miles. I got $500 royalty discount and this car works well. I have used Hyundai for 32 years non stop and had no technical or mechanical problems. I used to have Accent but now I have Elantra, an upgraded one. I love it.

Subtle yet sporty

This is everything it promises, more it doesn't, and with practically in mind this car is the trifecta! The cargo room is on par with the SUV class such as its sister the Santa-fe. The interior is spacious and accommodating with cup and bottle holders throughout. The 2.0 GDi engine is smooth and has more power than this car needs but it sure can be fun to have! Oh while you are out finding all this out and following what we shall assume is the reasonable speed limit for your area, this is one of those vehicles that tend to fly under the radar when when you're buzzing the tower... all this while averaging between 24-30 mpg and that's just in town...enjoy this Hyundai hothatch and remember to stay classy.

I originally went into the dealership to buy a Sante Fe but because of my situation I was talked into purchasing the Hyundai GT I do plan on going back and purchasing the Sante Fe but after driving my car for a year I have to say I love it!

I was shopping for a car that was compact, yet comfortable, well designed inside (easy to reach controls) & out (very sleek & cool), a good value/reliable/good quality, and have some power, too.This car has it all & I love it! Great vehicle

I love my Elantra GT, great on gas, lots of interior space, comfortable and reliable. Very stylish on the inside and out. Has the feel of a luxury vehicle without all the luxury expenses. Would highly reccomend the Hyundai brand.
