A joy to own and drive

Car is fun to drive . Great handling , nice engine performance and a nice tech package . Car is very comfortable for being a sports car . Drove 900 miles in it with no problems . Great gas mileage . Would tell others about this car.

An OK hatch

I owned the Hyundai Elantra GT 2.0 for about 1 year. Looks, power and responsiveness are are ok but bought this car planing to make it look sporty and boost the power in it but no after market parts are available.

Peppy little suv

Very peppy and lots of get up and go. Love the cargo cover and split seats. Very easy to drive. Bought new forva great price. Love the color and performance. Took a long trip and it excelled on mileage and comfort.

Best Little Hyundai Elantra GT

I’ll put my little Hyundai Elantra GT up nest to any of the other car brands out there, it’s stylish, it’s comfortable, it’s convenient turns on a dime, drives smooth takes the Mountain roads and desert roads great. Gas mileage it great. I get a lot of compliments on it when I’m out and about, the back seat is as comfortable as the front, Go test drive one today you’ll love it, I also love the big screen and the Apple auto play. Love my GT

The Elantra GT is a fantastic commuter. Comfortable and practical. Easy to drive. Could use a little more power, but overall is a great car. The front area is spacious, and the features are very nice an easy to operate. Surprisingly the rear sitting area is also very good for hatchback. The cabin noise level is a big improvement compared with the previous Elantra GT generation. I will like having more power, and a better suspension set up,. meaning more feeling of control, particulary over 50 mph, but this is not a sport or race carat all, The exterior looks is nice, sporty, and resembles the european style hatchbacks with a pricey tag, like a Volvo, or VW Golf. In general, I love my GT.

Love to drive the Hyundai GT.

My 2018 Hyundai GT is nimble and gets around town in a very comfortable manner. The electronics on board are superb. Gas mileage is around 34 mpg. Pick up is excellent. I really enjoy driving the Hyundai GT. Especially when you can select different driving modes. Super on the highway and nimble in the parking lots- makes it very easy to park.

Confor of seats.! Bad

style and design very miderno.! fun to handle it. the only bad thing is ... their front seats. They are not comfortable. very bad quality.! if they want more happy people with these cars, they have to be better with the comfort of the seats, because I think that is the main thing when driving

ok lol i walk or to drive away don't like surviving but it's okay, I Love the car if had more features and little bigger but very happy with the car ,I had a few car but drove my Mitsubishi Endeavor and Hyundai Veracruz the most

Great car

Love how it fells to set and drive the car. The handling of it on the interstate is so smooth for a smaller car. The mileage is great. My son bought one for his wife, my daughter is in her 3rd Hyundai. My youngest son’s truck broke down and he borrowed my car to get to work and fell in love with the way it drove. Before long my whole family will own a Hyundai.

Perfect commuter and weekend vehicle

I've had no issues with this vehicle and was surprised at its power. Engine works great and has plenty of power, transmission is good but there is some getting used to due to dual clutch. Apple car play is excellent and really don't miss navigation.

I wish it was better

To me the car looks great and I love the engine tone. It is responsive, and is fun to drive, to a point, but now that I have spent over a year with the car I can point some of the flaws. Again sheet metal is not the best, every time I clean it of wax it I can feel the panels flexing and that's concerning, the wind shield quality is not up to vw's and road noice is bad. And now that the sport trim was replaced with the n trim and some of the suspension issues where addressed as well as the engine and transmission mounds improved, I can help but feel cheated some how. But at least I still love the way it looks.

Awesome!!! But......

The only issue I have is the blind spot detection system. Rural areas like mine, it continually deactivates and then it's useless. The cash icon will light up until I can pull over and shut off the car to clear it and activate the system again. Wish there was a way to adjust sensitivity of something. Annoying!

love my car would never go back to any other car but i wish it had a wheel drive that is the only thing i miss and would get in next car it is comfy or i do miss the heated seat but cloth seats are not to bad

It's okay.

I was rather pressured into trading in my 2014 Turbo Veloster for something new. I read that 2019 Velosters wouldn't be available until 2019. So,i settled for the Elantra. I feel like an old man driving a station wagon. I really miss my V car. I should have bought it.

My Choice

This is 2nd Elantra GT owned, 1st was a 2013, it was Silver - very sharp vehicle My thoughts are that the 2013 engine/exhaust sound was better. It was responsive vehicle when needed, not sure if 2018 is as quick off the line The 2018 handles well The 2013 had a CD player, the 2018 does not - not at all happy about that Do like the back-up camera of the 2018 Purchased the bright blue color for the 2018, should have stayed with the bright Silver The personal temp adjust for cabin air is wonderful in 2018, set and press "GO" Am happy with fold-down rear seat Like the wheels Over-all think the 2018 is a good vehicle but should not have bought the blue

Great car for the price

An inexpensive fun performance car to drive. It’s peppy considering its 4 cylinders, the turbo is smooth. Great little everyday car, though not to be confused with my son’s M-3 or my 575 Maranello or V-8 Vantage
