Best Vehicle I've ever Owned

This is a great vehicle. Quality is tops. Styling is beautiful. Price is very attractive. This vehicle makes you feel like you have a $100,000 vehicle for half the price. The Hyundai name is no longer a cheap imposter compared to Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Cadillac mid size upscale competitors. The leather seat piping is like an Austin Martin and the Genesis badging on the hood, trunk lid and wheel hubs is like a Bentley. The technology is tops in its class.

No Apple car play

2016 Hyundai Genesis ultimate and apple car play not available because I have DIS. Dealer thought the download was available. But says Hyundai can't provide answer although it available for the cheaper models.

First time Hyundai Owner

The Genesis is an awesome vehicle. It is smooth, comfortable, and quiet. Just returned from a 2500 mile trip. 856 miles the first day and we were not unusually tired when we stopped. 28-30 mpg at an average speed just above 70. Did not expect that.

Great effort by Hyundai.

Our 2016 Genesis if a pleasure to drive, but not very spirited as we have also owned Mercedes Benz and BMW's in the past. it is built well, and offer an unbeatable warranty, which was the main facto of our purchase. Pricing was also a factor per options available standard and the pricing of upgrading these option packages. We love the car and get many stares as we drive by places. We get asked a lot of questions as well, many do not believe it is indeed a Hyundai.

I should've gotten one sooner.

I purchased the 2016 Hyundai Genesis (Base model) in Manhattan Brown to replace my 2014 Mazda 6. Let me say I am impressed in every way with this vehicle. Hyundai has truly stepped up their game. Every morning I wake up and look forward to driving this to work, to the mountains-- wherever. Everywhere I go I get interested looks and compliments. Love.

2016 Genesis 3.8 HTRAC Ultimate Addition

I owned the 2015 3.8 HTRAC Ultimate addition and I can tell you from personal experience the 2016 was a vast improvement. Better handling and ride quality. I had a lot of issues with the 2015 model from headlights just turning off at night, to a creeking passenger side front door that the dealership took apart three times and still could not fix it. An improvement to the ventilated seats (still needs to upgraded to AC instead of just blowing air). Fog lamps being available was a welcome addition (should have been included in the first place for what the car cost). Daytime running lights are definatley better looking than the 2015 two yellow daytime running lights. The radar system for the cruise control still has some issues (takes to long to see vehicles in front of the car and apply brakes). The biggest oversight for the 2016 model is the missing Apple Car Play. It's only available on the 8 inch not the 9 inch (Who does that? Upgrade your lower end vehicles first?) Not to mention a charge of $50 bucks to have the dealer install it if it's available for your vehicle is outrageous. I have purchased/leased 5 Hyundais since 2012 and I am about to trade them all in for a different brand due to these crazy business practices. Is the person making the decisions actually driving the Genesis? To make a real world decision that makes sense. I was going to purchase a G70 when they came out, but after the problems with the 2015 Genesis sedan I will probably trade in my Genesis 2016 for a reliable Lexus.
