First three months in the 2026 Palisade Hybrid

Comfortable ride, enough buttons to control the basics, cameras help with the surroundings and lane travel as well as parking. I love the interior and the appointments of controls and cushions. I enjoy driving it. The engine has enough zip even though I am used to a v8. Overall, I am completely satisfied.

Big Surprise for a (Formerly) Loyal Honda Girl

I have always been a loyal Honda or Toyota person - four decades. But the professional car reviews all said to give the Palisade a try, and I’m so glad I did. I test drove the Honda Pilot and Hyundai Palisade back-to-back, and the difference was stark - it was the Palisade hands down.

Impressive!

We traded our Cadillac XT6 for the Palisade. In almost every way, we upgraded. Besides the benefit of better gas mileage and range, the Palisade is superior in overall quality and cabin space. We can legitimately seat 7 full-sized adults.

Vehicle Amazing, support for recalls so-so

With the severe safety risks concerning the rear seats and child safety, I have been surprised that a fix has been delayed so long. Other than this one issue as well as a few other first year recalls (which are always expected), this vehicle has surpassed all expectations and we love it. Power, economy, quality, comforts and features are all well beyond its price point.

Great vehicle so far, minus a few hiccups

We've noticed some problems with the Palisade when we took it on a short drive up into the mountain areas. It sounded like it was stuck in a low gear, and then there was a smell like something had overheated, but we didn't notice any warning lights come on the dashboard. Then we also noticed a few times when the vehicle is first driven in the morning where it seems to have a problem shifting out of first gear. We took it in to the dealership, but the service department could not duplicate the problem, and the electronic system showed no previous warnings or signs of trouble. We plan on driving it up some inclines again soon to see if we have the same issues. We've also had some problems with the electric seat controls, but I'm not sure if it is user error or not since we've only had the vehicle a short time.

Some PROBLEMS

1. The automatic door unlock often does not work quickly. Occasionally never. I have to pull out fob to open driver door. 2. Apple Car Play stopped connecting two weeks ago. 3. phone battery charger in center console overheats my iPhone. I cannot use it. 4. The head rest is uncomfortable because my head wants to be further back and I can not adjust it further back - so I bought a seat back cushion 3/4" thick. What a pain. 5. There is NO INDEX for the car manual. How stupid can you get. I can not find anything easily.

Great car until the recall update

I have enjoyed this vehicle since the day I got it. However, the recent recall "fix" has been a major disappointment. It removed two of my favorite conveniences—the very features that made me choose the Palisade over every other SUV. Losing the ability to control the third-row fold from the dash and the loss of the one-touch button is frustrating. To have this be the final solution is unacceptable to me. Without those features, the car is just "okay" instead of great.

Luxury with speed and 575 miles to the tank

I was pleasantly surprised what an upgrade the hybrid calligraphy was to my 2023 SEL. I get about 575 mile to a tank of gas, amazing! All the interior features are luxury and some are better and more thoughtful than our BMW 7-series. Love the turn signal cameras!

clunky, terrible safety features

Does not handle well. System alerts me multiple times about silly issues such as low wiper fluid but gives no indication about actual road hazards. It is difficult to drive.
