Smooth Ride

This is a smooth riding vehicle. I am very glad I waited to get the Hybrid. Good gas mileage and satisfying power. Software updates sometimes take awhile for everything to reset. I wish the car would automatically lock when you walk away. The music does not mute when you start a call.

Amazing car except one thing.

The power seats still need work after a few updates to the system since the incident. at the beginning the 2nd row didn't fold with enough space to get in and out of the 3rd row then an update happened and it the space was great but it would not fold automatically which is understandable. and now the 2nd row doesn't provide enough space when folding and doesn't happen automatically. besides that the car is great and I really like it.

Amazing features but horrible customer service on recalls

Value for money: This vehicle is hard to beat. Performance: Excellent. Features: Outstanding—nothing else in this segment matches what it offers. Handling: Could be improved. Recalls & customer support: Unfortunately, dealing with customer service during recalls is a nightmare. Overall, the vehicle itself is amazing to own, but the experience is overshadowed by serious concerns about how customer service handles recalls—you’ll feel impressed by the car yet frustrated and uneasy about the support process.

Luxury features for a fair price

I just bought a new Palisade Hybrid Calligraphy. It is great to drive and very well equipped with many great comfort and safety features. It is much bigger than my prior vehicle so I am still getting used to it but so far am very pleased with the car. The hybrid engine gets great mileage for such a large vehicle and while the hybrid was up charge, it will pay for itself over time. My only disappointment is the recent recall that changed the way the second and third row seats work when stowing and moving them to access the third row. I liked the feature when I bought it but am not as excited about the fix and how they work after the update.

Great Family Vehicle

Great vehicle. Fits my whole family and all our stuff for trips oe just everyday errands. Did great driving in snow through the sierra Nevada Mountains. Only wish - come standard with a tow hitch and improved AI driving. Tends to assist the driver close to the medium or center line when using cruise control. When uaing cruise control it also breaks way to hard going downhills.

Love driving this car

Beautiful car and very comfortable. Love the controls and ease of use. Adore the console & purposeful design. The fact I have somewhere to store my purse and have access is incredible. Downside, the tailgate really gets my goat. It’s Very annoying that I have to hold down the button FOREVER just to close the tailgate.

Great overall

Mostly great. Took delivery with some swirling marks on the hood. I buffed them out myself, but was brand new with no other test drives, so likely an issue in transit as I doubt it would leave the factory like that. Would be great if you could see the electric battery percentage on the hybrid and get to use the battery and hybrid more when doing short local trips. My wife drives it 1 mile to work and barely gets a chance to run all battery.

My Palisade is emerald green

Really enjoying driving my 2026 Palisade Calligraphy. The ride is luxury car smooth and the tech in this vehicle is out of this world, both for entertainment and safety. It is so neat the way they add vehicle updates via computer and send you a text when they're uploaded. The leather trim is top class along with the heated and ventilated seats, and I went with the all-weather floor mats, which are comfortable and easy to clean. This is the first hybrid vehicle that I've owned and it's so enjoyable to hear the gas engine cut out and switch to battery power. That "whir" of the battery tells me that I'm saving fuel. Fuel mileage is good, although I haven't made it yet to the 29 MPG advertised. It will also accelerate nicely when needed. I would give five stars, but there are a couple of recalls yet to be resolved, and two times I entered my car to a dead 12-volt battery, which I had to jump start. Dealer said the battery tested good and would not replace. Hyundai tells me that it must happen another time before they'll replace it. Not an ideal situation with a brand-new vehicle, as there is a trust issue, wondering if your new vehicle is going to start. It's not happened in the last month, so I'm hoping the issue was with the vehicle sitting on the dealer lot and just needed some driving to charge it up. I will state this: we liked the vehicle so well that went out and purchased my wife a brand-new Hyundai Sonata Limited. We also like the My Hyundai app and the Hyundai "how to" videos. It takes a while to learn everything about the vehicle (I still am) and those videos teach you by any particular function you might need to know about. I mentioned in the title that mine is emerald green in color, but there are certain ways the light hits it that make it sometimes look black or dark blue. Love the color. Please note: anything below a nine in my ratings is due to the recall and battery issue.

My Palisades rides and drives smoothly. When my adult kids rode with me the first time, they couldn't believe how spacious the area around the passenger were. Lots of amenities and quiet ride resulted in a high grade from them!

Want to love my 2026 Palisade but things keep breaking....

I purchased this vehicle at the beginning of March. Within 1-2 weeks of owning it, a parking sensor started malfunctioning. Brought it to the dealer, who discovered it was (also) leaking coolant. The car was in the shop for more than 2 weeks while the dealer waiting for a replacement water pump. Dealer could not reproduce sensor issue (supposedly). Brought it back less than a week later when sensor error recurred. Car was in the dealer for about a week for repair (replaced the bad sensor). I've now had the car home for less than a week and now the back window spontaneously shattered, literally, while the car was sitting in my driveway with no one around (I have home security cameras). Terrible experience so far and seriously considering Lemon Law.
