A pleasant surprise!

New to the Hyundai family. Love the styling inside and out! I’m constantly getting comments about the car especially if they see the inside. Ride feel is great, quality seems great! I’m at 5,000 miles, so still new, bust so far I’ve been pleasantly surprised! I shopped many brands and price was no limit (Lexus, infinity, Lincoln’s etc) and this had the most bang and luxury feel for the money!

Love it.

This car floats on air, like no other car I've had. Wonderful tech. Wonderful safety. The best aesthetics. The most comfortable seats have ever owned in a car. Great sound , but then I have bose at home also. Quiet comfort unmatched.

Honest MPG numbers

Window Sticker states 29/30 mpg. These numbers are not accurate. I'm getting 26.2 city. Highway miles/gallon is false. One trip was 22.5 and another was 25.5. Wish I knew this before my purchase.

Huge upgrade from last car & more powerful than I expected

Still absolutely thrilled with my purchase. Seeing savings on gas with the move to hybrid. There was a bit of a learning curve with car performance because it is hybrid but settled in pretty quick. Overall it's super comfy and so far seems very reliable (though, of course, time will tell here once I've own for several years instead of a couple months).

Auto Lock

Vehicle is great and very surprised with for me coming from a 2022 Acura MDX Fully loaded. Only really issue I have with it and surprised that option is not there for a fully loaded Palisade. It is auto lock when you walk away from the vehicle. So if we can make that happed with a software update to have that.

More Bang for your Bucks

The original Palisade was a winner with interior and exterior design however, it lacked power and was not very good on gas. The 2026 Hybrid changed all that. Better exterior and interior styling in addition to more power and better gas mileage. A win win for the Palisade especially the Calligraphy. I would highly recommend the AWD version to take advantage of the more powerful engine.

Very nice truck so far, a couple of observations to make it better:

Plenty of power from the hybrid, the all-wheel-drive system handles very well in the rain. I love the light gray interior, it really pops, and the interior fit, and finish punches way above its weight in terms of price. It approaches Genesis level interior fit, and finish. I will say that I think the four-cylinder engine in the hybrid sounds a little bit coarse at speed. Also, the over the air update that eliminated manipulation for the third row from the front cluster is terrible. Hyundai needs to come up with a better solution for this. It’s part of the functionality that I purchased and I do not think this update is sufficient at all. Well, I don’t want to see anybody hurt, something needs to be changed. Another issue I have is that the media screen doesn’t effectively display song, title and album cover art in XM mode. The whole media interface when listening to XM radio needs to be updated. The small little window showing album art just not good enough. Another small issue is that this vehicle should include programming to lock the doors when I walk away from the vehicle with my fob in my pocket. I’m surprised this option was omitted. Other than those few small grips, I am very happy with this vehicle. I have around 2500 miles on it and so far so good.

Great so far

Love the vehicle so far, but hope the software continues to get upgraded to bring back the convenience of controlling all seats from driver seat like before the recall. Apple CarPlay ultra also should be provided in future updates. Not a fan of the cost of the Hyundai dashboard themes / light themes. Why have an added cost / money grab, give these cool little updates / customizations free to customers to choose so they can enjoy them without having to pay $50 for a fun light themes.

Love my Palisade Hybrid

I absolutely love my new Palisade! The seats are so comfortable and the drive is really smooth. Lumbar adjustments and leg rest in the front are top notch and the 2nd row tilts back plenty to allow my daughter’s car seat to rest naturally. I haven’t used the 3rd row but the trunk space has been perfect. This is the first hybrid I’ve owned and I’ve been super happy w it. It gets almost double the mpg of my last suv and the engines pick up has been perfect for me. It has bells and whistles I never would’ve considered but I do wish the touch door locks were on all 4 doors and the trunk had hands free option, but that’s more personal preference. Overall I couldn’t be happier and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a large suv.

There's so many electronic upgrades it's going to take a while to figure it all out. Really enjoy driving this vehicle it's a great road car. Takes a bit to get used to the steering keeping you in the lane. The biggest issue was getting the ap going.

Some benefits?

The Palisade offers plenty of space and has a very attractive exterior design. However, the interior layout feels a bit unconventional. While I'm of average height, I often find myself leaning forward to reach the touchscreen or adjust the climate controls. I also noticed that the headliner is a different color than the rest of the interior, which makes the cabin feel less cohesive. The lane-keeping assist is one of the weaker aspects of the vehicle. I found it to be overly intrusive and not as refined as I expected. Although the hybrid system is likely helping fuel economy, I still seem to be filling up about as often as I did with my previous vehicle. On the positive side, the ride quality is exceptionally smooth and comfortable. The heated and ventilated seats work well, but they didn't particularly stand out as either exceptional or disappointing. Overall, the Palisade is a dependable and comfortable SUV with a lot to offer, especially in terms of space and ride quality. That said, I'm not convinced it stands above some of the other options in its class, particularly when considering the interior ergonomics and driver-assistance features.
