Great car but needs some added features.

This is a mostly comfortable vehicle and gets pretty decent fuel economy, around 26mpg driving a mixture of short and long trips and freeway and city streets. There are a couple of features that would make this the perfect vehicle. Being able to lock the doors from outside the vehicle when the engine is running would be great for those quick trips into the gas station to get a soda when we want to leave the kids safely in the car. Along those same lines, being able to lock the doors with multiple doors still open would be helpful as well, so we don't have to wait for all the kids to get out and close their doors before locking the vehicle. Some clarity about which functions are user specific and which functions stay the same across all users would also be great, trial and error seems to be the only way to figure that out. Being able to pair each key fob to a specific user also would be great. Slightly larger cup holders (like 5mm) to fit a 32oz water bottle would be helpful. Since the latest update the buttons on top of the middle seats doesn't function right, the seat gets stuck in a forward position and it's confusing to get it back. The option for a center console in the middle row would be very helpful, as that row only has 1 cup holder per seat. Another annoying feature is when the autosteer veers out of the lane it beeps at me. I would much prefer an audible notification that the auto steering is not working right and then I can take over. Another annoying feature of the autosteer is it does a lousy job of keeping the vehicle centered. When large vehicles are next to me, it seems to push the vehicle closer to them instead of further away. Also, the check engine light is on because of the front vent flaps, seems like that isn't an engine issue. The new update where we have to push the button the whole time a seat is moving is very annoying. Why can't the motor current be monitored and a spike causes it to reverse? Thats how every other auto moving unit works.

After having a 2020 Palisade and loving in, the natural next pick was the Hybrid 2026 and it has been fantastic, larger ( by a little) better fuel mileage, great safety options. Everything we could ask for new a new vehicle

I had a 2020 Limited great product no problems traded it in for the 2026 Palisade SEL premium hybrid great move love the vehicle no big glass roof in the middle of my car to heat up

serious recalls restricting family gatherings

We bought this vehicle and took it in a few weeks later because we felt the brakes were not working properly and were assured they were within limits. Then we get a terrifying notification about the back rows. Due to these serious back rows recalls, we feel unable to safely drive with small children in the car. It is unbelievable that we bought our vehicle and a month later, we were notified of very serious safety issues that prevent us from enjoying family reunions because we cannot have family members with small children in the back rows with us. We deserve so much better and are shocked at the nature of this recall. We spoke to our salesman in March once we were notified of this serious safety issues and were told no solution was yet available. We have a new vehicle that has lost important technology functionalities. These were VERY important to our buying decision. We were let to believe we were buying a SAFE and top-notch vehicle. We feel this is no longer the case. As a disabled veteran, these functions were the primary reason for upgrading from our previous Palisade which itself had recall issues as well. The solution prevents us from using the technology we most need and are now terrified of enjoying this vehicle as no family member feels safe or comfortable riding with us with our smallest family members and we completely understand and have not had an opportunity to join in family gatherings. It is unacceptable to have a vehicle for which we expected to have the latest technology functionalities work both safely and appropriately at all times. Disheartening and frustrating to no longer have these available. Had we known of these very serious issues prior to buying this vehicle in February 2026, we would have NEVER purchased it.

Excellent vehicle with minor flaw

Enjoy the ride and the technology but frustrated with the "easy access": drivers seat, which does NOT move back or forward when exiting or entering the vehicle. Dealer unable to help and Hyundai USA customer Care did not help.

Great to drive. Features need work

Overall, my Palisade Drive is great. It is a pleasure to drive, but many of thr convenience features are frustrating to set and operate. Some of the features cannot be changed or adjusted without pulling over and stopping the car.

I enjoy my Palisade for a family of 6. Everyone fits comfortably. Have done multiple long road trips (400+ miles) with no complaints of being cramped. Lots of luxury features and EXCELLENT gas mileage.

The 2026 Palisade is a winner!

The 2026 Palisade is over the top excellent! It’s luxurious in both looks and driving appeal. This is our 2nd Palisade. The upgrades in the 2026 far exceed our 2022. We like the reliability of the hybrid engine and many cameras and safety features. It is a real pleasure to drive this car.

Palisade hybrid caligraphy 2026

Satisfied overall. Good mpg. Nice interior. Full of luxury features. Some minor misses which can be tweaked in later model years. (1) Engine always kicks in after car start in a few seconds which is not necessary cause car is moving slowly in EV mode. (2) Engine sounds loudly on steep uphills. The sound is so loud that it feels like something's broken. (3) While driving, transition between EV and gasoline engine isn't always smooth. (4) HDA2 brake too late when I can sense that front traffic is slowing down noticeably. Also it begins speeding even when a car from neighboring lane cleary cutting in front of me. The radar showing it so the palisade should know, but it still speeds. (5) Favorites button on steering wheel and dashboard has only limited list to choose from. For instance, (1) I want short cut to apple carplay screen also I want shortcut to dwell mode or idle mode but they are not available in the list.

Everything but the power seats is great.

I love basically everything about the car but the power rear seats. They fold too slow, and now that they've updated things so they can't be moved from the front console, it's a real hassle. The ability to operate them from the front was a real selling point for making it easier for visiting parents and small children, neither of whom really knows what they're doing with the seats. The engine and brakes both feel underpowered at times. I wish there was a more aggressive regenerative feature for when coasting so I didn't have to brake as much.

We have the hybrid which gets great mileage for a large car. Drive is smooth with great acceleration. Great dashboard and entertainment screen. Spacious interior.
