Sonata Hybrid

I love the outer appearance, especially the word blue on my car. It's like a nickname. The silver is a magical color and the design of the car is eye catching even after having it for 1+years. Great gas mileage! Rides great even on long (12 hour) trips. Trunk room is smaller than a nonhybrid (my 2009). The driver's seat is HORRIBLE!!! Too hard with a lump that hits square in the coccyx area. Still, I can drive long distances without too much physical discomfort. It does not fit a 5 foot female: not high enough. The side mirrors create a significant blind spot. There is a rear camera but I would rather have a beep that tells me someone or something is too close. LOVE the keyless entry and start. I also love that it howls when I leave it on and leave the car. It is SOOOO quiet. I do not like the little blue light that stays on in the ceiling (supposedly to light the gear shift and cup holder area). It is a major distraction at night and there is no way to turn it off! Cup holders are in the wrong spot. Poised for a spill. Love the Bluetooth hands free phone. I want that seat to be like the 2009 Sonata. Miss my old car!!!!!!

Awesome Car

I love this car. It handles very well and its very attractive. I only purchase gas every week and a half but that is only because I commute 50 miles per day. I'd highly recommend this car to a friend! I wish it had better upholstery on the inside or else I'd rate this 5-stars

Generally I like the Hyundai very much

This is you being a real pain. Demanding a minimum of two hundred characters, when I've already filled out your form as much as i wanted to goes above and beyond what i feel like doing. Obviously i like the Hyundai, this being my 4th one.

Blue

I love this car. The ride is quiet and smooth, gas mileage great but the view can be difficult. The side view mirror area is to wide and hinders view. Not good! Very roomy interior. I'm in sales and travel with clients from time to time and I always get great compliments. The most common response is "This is a Hyandai? Wow! I didn't know they made cars like this!"

My review`

Excellent styling . The acceleration from a standing stop was very good and pickup at highway speeds was very good also. Miles per gallon in city were great but the highway miles per gallon were just fair. Legroom in the rear seats was excellent for the size of this vehicle.

I love my sonata except for the windshield spray problem. I repacked my Prius with the Sonata hybrid n it gave me a more secured feeling unlike the Prius.

Gives me the feeling of security compared to my Prius. The electric battery that I replaced in the Prius cost me $4500 n when I got into an accident, they did not give me any credit for that battery which was only 2years old. Hyundae has a way better warranty than any Toyota cars. This is my personal experience no telly friends to buy a Hyundae!

I Love Hyundai

This is my third Hyundai Sonata although this one is a hybrid. The car looks amazing and gets great gas mileage. The only thing I would change is for the front passenger seat to be able to be adjusted. Mine is a 2015 so this may be corrected on the newer models. I have regular maintenance done and have had no mechanical problems.

Fuel economy is great

Overall very nice car. Sluggish takeoff from stop sometimes. All the other features are good. With new tires the car handles fine in winter condition but of course deeper snow I would not advise driving long distance. The braking system has worked very nice. Stops on a dime on dry roads.

2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

The 15 Sonata Hybrid is a very solid car. Mine is black with gray leather interior. When the engine is off an you drive the car in battery mode it turns into a car you could sleep next to, so very quiet. It is quick off the line, pull up and realize you needed to be in the lane beside the one your currently in, no prob, just hit the gas and hang on! The off the line will make you think your in some kind of sports car. Finally it's luxurious, a formal style car that you don't mind pulling up at your favorite restaurant and letting the valet park it. So it is a very nice car to drive! In summary, it is a fun car to drive, and the 2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid gets great gas mileage!

2015 Hyb.

This is one great car , 42 to 45 mpg, rides like a high-end sedan. There is a slight bump up when it switches from electric mode to gas but nothing to get twisted over. I wish they made it without the sunroof option, rarely use it here in Fl. This is the most trouble free vehicle I ever owned. Slight cosmetic flaw developed with the trim around the windshield(paint cracking) which they replaced under warranty. Over all I would highly recommend this model and when ready would purchase the same.

We truly enjoy our car. The gas mileage is fantastic. The car is beautiful. My only complaint is the front lower light can not be fixed efficiently and is not designed well. Also the passenger seat needs to be able to adjust to a higher position. I am seated to low as a passenger. The overall comfort and leg room is outstanding.

Shelled out transmission 18,000 miles out of warranty

With no warning from driving the car, not jerking, bad acceleration, nothing, it just quit running. On the screen, it said it was low battery. My 2015 Hybrid

Great on gas. They ride is extremely smooth. I get compliments from my uber riders. It's so quiet at times doesn't even sound like it's on. Nice color flow. Easy to connect Bluetooth devices and the range is pretty good.

Cheap on gas

Wanted a Hybrid, settled on the Hyundia. Except for very cold weather, always get 40+ MPG. Handles well, reasonably quiet. Would have liked power seat on passenger side as seat is quite low (wife has to sit on cushions to be comfortable) Not overly enthusiastic about the navigation device, prefer I-phone.

Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

I have enjoyed driving the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. I love not having to put gas in the car every time I turn around. One thing I would like to see changed is where the airbags are placed in the front. They are situated in such a way that it gives a huge blind spot when turning corners or just looking to see if someone is coming your way.

Not your Moms hybrid!

I previously owned a Volkswagen Diesel Sportswagon and was looking for a car with comparable features and comparable gas mileage. This car has met and exceeded my expectations! The car is not what most people would expect a hybrid to look like either. It’s not a “Mom car”, instead it is sleek and stylish. One of the beliefs I had about a hybrid was that it would have no pick up, but this car has incredible pick up. I am never worried when entering a freeway or when I need to accelerate quickly. The interior is roomy and luxurious. And the overall performance of the car is much more comparable to a high end car. When I first got the car, I was always double checking that I had started the car since the engine is so quiet. The one drawback to the car is the trunk size. Because it is a hybrid, you trade trunk space for the electric battery. The trunk space becomes an issue when traveling and need space for bags. When I had to replace the VW, I wasn’t intentionally looking for a Hyundai but have been impressed by the car and dealership experiences I have had thus far. I brag on this car all the time and am very proud to own it!

Very comfortable car.

My wife and I have enjoyed our 2015 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. It's a good mixture of comfort, sportiness and economy. Only disappointment was mileage. Stats quoted as between 38 and 40 mpg city to hwy. In actual usage, we normally get 33 to 34 mpg. What is annoying is that the car computer routinely states that we are getting 4 mpg better than what I actually calculate by simply dividing the total miles driven by the volume of gas required to fill up the tank.
