Best made car on the planet

My 2021 Sonata hybrid is flawless. It has every feature I ever wanted. It is extremely reliable. I have never had an issue with and of the Sonats's I have owned. I see a 2024 Sonata Hybrid in my near future. I would only purchase Hyundai products.

Most Hyundai dealers would not honor warranty

21 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Car had less than 28,000 miles when a leak developed on back of radiator in engine compartment. 2 Hyundai dealerships wouldn't honor warranty. 3rd dealership did but messed up repairs. A total of about 45 days all told before I got my car back in running condition. Lodged complaint with Hyundai Warranty complaint department. They were useless and hard to deal with. They wasted so much of my time.

Love it

This car has tons of safety features, rides comfortably, and has great gas mileage. The cost of ownership has proven to be wonderful. We’ve racked up a ton of miles on this car due to gas mileage and comfort on long road trips.

Great car, terrible customer service support

The vehicle is great. You will not find any car currently out on the market that can match all the features that you get with the Sonata. However, you don't want your vehicle's check engine to turn on because otherwise, you will experience some of the worst customer service you can imagine. Regardless of your warranty, you will not be given a rental car until there is a diagnosis, and that may not happen until 10 to 20 days from the day you take your car to the dealership. Hyundai really needs to work on this.

Except for issues with the outside trim and the wearing and cracking of my passenger seat I love the car. The gas mileage is great, which is a huge selling factor for me. I met a few of the engineers from Korea and their dedication to making the best vehicle was evident.

I am totally satisfied with my hybrid sonata. Mileage, performace and looks are great. When I decide to purchase another vehicle it will most likely be another hybrid sonata and from the same dealership and salesman.

Exceptional Vehicle

I have had several Sonatas since 2000. They have all been wonderful vehicles. The 2021 hybrid is averaging 48-50 mpg. Can't beat that. Love the bells and whistles.

My 4th consecutive 3-year Sonata lease ... still loving the vehicle

I used to get Dodge Intrepids every 3-4 years. When they stopped making them, I did a lot of vehicle research and settled on the Hyundai Sonata hybrid. I am nearing the end of my 4th 3-year lease, and will almost certainly get a 5th Sonata when the current lease expires later this year.

Unsatisfied

May be the Hyundai has produced a good car but a people at the both dealerships are very unprofessional. Complaint issues range from problems with the electrical system, wheels and tires, and brakes that malfunction, to sunroofs that explode unexpectedly.

Decent vehicle if you get the Hybrid Sonata with the solar roof

Great Gas Mileage if you drive it slow and steady tricking the car into electric mode as often as possible. NAV system is a nightmare. you have to manually update it. My 2015 Audi had over-the-air updates. Hard to maintain and the dealers seem not to like to sell Sedans, only SUVs.

Great choice

Love, love the Sonata. Has more bells and whistles than expected and than I have had time to try. Very quiet and smooth driving, and wonderful gas mileage. Very spacious trunk. Ease of storage when shopping. Very comfortable in all seats even for tall people. Lots of leg room.

Great features, but worried about overall dependability

The safety features on my Sonata Hybrid can't be beat, but I'm concerned about the car's overall durability. I've had the vehicle for right at two years, and I've already experienced hesitation issues with the engine (while trying to accelerate from a stop), and there's a noise that even the Hyundai engineers haven't been able to track down or fix.

Love My Red Hyundai Sonata Hybrid

Waited almost 2 years to get the car I wanted. It is a red Hyundai Sonata Hybrid with all the bells and whistles. My favorite item is the heads up display, but also like the careras, alert features, Quality, space. Gas mileage averages about 49 mpg but has gone up as high as 59 mpg and sometimes on 100 degrees with full air running it only gets abut 39 mpg. I'm sure the safety features have jprevented more than one accident, including showing other vehicles where I am.

Wish I had bought another Toyota Camry, or Mercedes s class, or Audi Q8, I am not use to this type of customer service that I receive from Hyundai, car broker for over 3 months they cant seem to fix it, no loaner car, still have to pay the lease, dealer lies about parts on order etc, waste of time

Very good

Car very good overall. Cameras very helpful particularly when parking. Rear view mirror could be better by showing some side views to augment side mirrors. We Dow tenting could be a little darker, but not much.

Employees very friendly clean atmosphere easy to shop I always have a good experience at Hyundai dealership sales and also service Issac is very helpful very patient and keep me informed on the process without being recommend your dealer to my friends and family holiday is an excellent vehicle course for services the number one priority want to comes to maintaining my vehicle so I do appreciate the friendly service at Hyundai

I really like the size other Senada if it’s my family well gas mileage is second to none would definitely recommend and consider the Senada when my lease is over will probably look at the fully loaded model that’s such a great deal on the base model will consider the fully Model in the future
