Overall summary

Just took it for a trip from NJ to Florida. My husband and I were very comfortable either as the driver or the passenger. We were pleasantly surprised at the room it had in it after folding the seats down. Of course the gas range was terrific, especially with the price of gas!

Best for its price. The driver's assistance technology is standard.

My wife and I love it. This is our third Sonata Hybrid. We looked at different auto makers but ketp coming back to this one. There is no doubt that the quality and the driver's assistance technology really push it up from many of its competitors. The hybrid portion is an envy to many of our friends and family. The outside and inside look are superb.

My car choice since 2018

I have had a Hyundai Sonata Limited since 2018. After my first one, I was hooked. I upgraded in 2020 and again in 2025, when they Limited became hybrid. Unfortunately, I was in a bad car accident and I am convinced that this car saved my life. Even though the car was totaled, I walked out with minor bruising from the seat belt and air bags. The EMS tech said that car did everything it should have and that is why you are sitting up and talking to me now. So I now have a 2026. Besides the safety features, the look of the car itself is beautiful. The sleek lines, the leather interior. It is a luxury car without the luxury price. Since it went hybrid, I get around 500 miles to the gallon. The timing was perfect since the price of gas has risen so quickly. I love the way it handles and it has a tight feel to it. It accelerates just as it should. The tech details are numerous. There are very minor things I don't like, such as the seat adjustments. I am only 5' tall so I wish the seat came up more; some of the features on the display screen are annoying - I have to confirm it's me even though I am the only user. As I said, very minor. I highly recommend the Hyundai Sonata and I don't think I would want to drive anything else.

Very happy

In general, I am very happy with my vehicle. The gas mileage is great. The ride is smooth. The screen is fairly large. It's an enjoyable car to drive. I would buy my car again. Being a hybrid, it was a little bit expensive, but so far I don't have any regrets. If you look at the price only, the hybrid may not save much money, but I'm also happy to be using less fuel and being good to the environment.
