Great vehicle, and you lied about the mileage

I bought a hybrid because I drive about 150 miles a day for work. What i saw in your ads, and told by the salesman, is that i would average around 45 miles a gallon. Instead i average less then 35. I had a 2022 sonata hybrid and was getting 46 a gallon. So, last time i ever buy a hyundai. And I have been loyal to Hyundai since 2010.

Overall, the car is great with a few issues I don't like!

Too many features are hard to learn quickly! I'll need to get more help from the sales people to figure out how they work! The vehicle is a great car, with too many features that I'm not thrilled with! So far the mileage has not equaled the rating posted on the window!

Good Car, Slightly Uncomfortable Seats

Good car, my second. If you are a tech junkie, there is enough to keep you entertained for quite a while. The Bose system is only OK and I'm a Bose fan, the sound is muddy. The seats, at least the driver's seat is not one I would like to take another cross country trip sitting in. They could use a little softer padding. I'll probably get a pad to sit on although, that will defeat the purpose of the ventilated seat function. My BIGGEST complaint is that the car and my phone are constantly "talking" and that doesn't allow the car to "sleep," so the car disconnects the battery and you have NOTHING, no lights, no function, NOTHING. I had to use the mechanical key to open the door (good luck prying that cover off the first time) and press the reset for the battery. I had to turn off the UWB function and that solved the "problem." I still live in fear of being locked out so, I have to travel with the fob and the mechanical key which defeats the purpose of using my phone as a digital key. Overall, I like this car as much as I liked my 2014 Sonata. The tech makes it fun to drive and a road trip will tell me how well or not it travels.

Love the car but not the door lock function

I love everything about this car but it could be better if it has the Walk away Lock function. I always have to make sure I lock the car before walking away.

New Car Failed in 48 Hours – Unresolved Safety Defect

I purchased a brand-new 2026 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from Hyundai Fontana on October 18, 2025. Within 48 hours, the vehicle completely failed to start and remained inoperable for over 14 hours. The defect matched Hyundai’s internal bulletin 25-01-076H issued two days later. Despite extensive communication, Hyundai has refused to take responsibility or provide a meaningful resolution. I’ve had to secure my own transportation and pursue formal complaints. Extremely disappointed and concerned about Hyundai’s quality control and customer care.
