Loving my Sonata Hybrid
I've had my vehicle for just about 3 months now. Living in Pennsylvania, I'm curious to see how it handles in the snow but so far, Summer driving has been great. The ride is quiet and the seats are very comfortable. There's plenty of room in the back seat for my 2 dogs and more room in the trunk than I expected. I was a little disappointed to find that it doesn't come with a spare tire. There's a well in the trunk for one, so I'm sure you can order it if you wanted.
My mileage is running just around 25 mgp in the city. Not quite what I hoped for but still so much better than the 12 mgp on the Kia Sorento that I traded in. Highway driving I'm getting over 40 mpg. Overall, I'm satisfied with the fuel economy.
For me, it took a little getting used to driving a hybrid. If you're heavy-footed on the gas, you'll definitely feel the gas engine kick in and take over. If anything, it's taught me to drive much smoother.
