Our family’s Jaguar F-TYPE air conditioning was not really getting cold lately (I live in Georgia but
my work projects is in NJ). I finally wanted to get this problem fixed. Initially I took it to another car “doctor” in Mount Laurel and they kept the car for 2 days to figure out what was wrong with tmy AC. They came back with explanation that evaporator needed to be replaced and quoted me $2260 for parts & labor.
Sure I wanted a 2nd opinion. I took it to Desi Auto Care (which is new my job area) Immediately mechanic told me the previous diagnosis is very unlikely for this many milage. He got in the vehicle and smelled the air coming from the air vents and confidently said to me that he doesn’t smell any refrigerant and it was definitely not a damaged evaporator.
They cleaned the AC system refrigerant and re-filled it with brand-new refrigerant, the car has been blowing colder than ever. Desi charged me a fraction of what the other repair shop was asking and the problem was fixed. Very lucky to found this shop. (Bonus: everything is warrantied for 2 years)
