reassessing problems
puente hills called me back to bring in my car to check for excessive oil burning in a short time. the test involves getting an oil change then testing every 1000 miles to gauge how much oil i've burned. i appreciate the concern and evaluation of the cars problem by jay. i will return and conduct further testing.

Great Experience
Staff was friendly my vehicle was ready quickly received a nice text when it was done. It was washed which was a pleasant surprise. Only thing I would recommend is to have service member greet u as you walk in the atmosphere can be a bit intimidating if you don’t know who you should be speaking with or if u should just sit n wait. Other than that they were great!!!

Thank you for your input.  Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority but as you experienced, it is not always successful. 

For a long wait, everyday is kind of unpredictable.  When we have too many cars, lube rack and car wash get backed up...but I do apologize for no explanation part.  We are trying to find better way to shorten the waiting time though.

I have had two Hyundai Santa Fe's since 2003.
I cars are amazing, they run great forever, they have the best warranty & if there is a problem, the service members are wonderful!
They are kind, professional & go above & beyond to help.

Be careful with their recommendations especially if you have had your vehicle services or repairs done at a olace other than dealership. I had services dine but when they inspected my vehicle during oil change they were trying to get me to do the same services. I had to explain tothem i didn't know what they were looking at because i had my services done a few months ago at Pep boys.

  Thank you for your input.  Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority but as you experienced, it is not always successful. 

As for the recommendations, we tested the battery and it failed the load test.  We pulled out your filter and it was dirty.  We checked the coolant, debris were floating and decolonization was started. Your brake pads and fluid were OK though... I think you just chose to believe Pep Boys.  Not us.....

For a long wait, Saturday is kind of unpredictable.  When we have too many cars, we have to limit diagnostic work so we can try to finish current customers in time.  We are trying to find better way to shorten the waiting time on weekend.
   
    I can feel that you are upset but please do not treat our department like unethical cheaters. We do not run business like that here. Customer satisfaction has been always the #1 goal and we all are proud of serving our loyal Hyundai customer.

   Regardless, if you feel the experience at our department was unpleasant, it is our fault. Please call me directly at 626-581-5353 if we can help you in the future.

Fails to brake after oil fluid flush
The vehicle maintenance was made on 11th March, which contains only oil change and brake fluid flush.
However, the brake almost does not work and the vehicle can hardly slow down.
The vehicle was returned for further repair on 15th March. And the current expected date is 19th March.
I think the technician should be checked and reviewed by manger.

Thank you for your input.  Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority but as you experienced, it is not always successful.  I believe we are currently working on your car...we will fix it for you but I have to point it out that it has nothing to do with brake flush.  It is your brake cylinder.  It won't hold the pressure.  Just part worn out.. Anyway.. things like this happen sometimes.  I hope you do not use this incident to determine the quality of our service.  Thank you again for being a loyal Puente Hills Hyundai customer.

Fast service!
Service was fast and I appreciate being accommodated later in the afternoon. Service writer was great. Only issue was that I asked for 34 pounds on tires, and they were mismatched and all at 36 or above.

Jay was excellent in the Service department. Top notch employee. Since there was 3 recalls on my car, I had to bring it in for service. I had a simple request If they could just fill up my tires with air when returning it and maybe a courtesy wash if they bad time. I was told SURE NO PROBLEM. When I got it back. Not one of those were done.

Great service!
I made an appointment for a 15,000 service on line and brought my Tucson in on a Wednesday morning. Jay got all my paperwork finished quickly and told me my car had 2 recalls which would only take a few minutes to repair. I decided to have my tires aligned due to all the potholes and speed bumps I drive over every day. I thought I would be there most of the day, but I was back on the road by 10:30 am. Since it was raining, Jay told me that if I wanted to bring my car back for a complimentary wash, I could do so whenever it was convenient for me.

Great job, PH Hyundai!!!

Had to go to dealership three times for the same recall.
Had a recall on the car. Went the first time but service said they didn’t have the parts and we’d have to come back. Went back a second time and they told us the same thing. We asked if we can leave the car for a few days and receive a loaner car. They said no because it was not standard for that recall to give out loaners. We asked if they can order it so we can come another day and they agreed but never gave us a day. We went back the following week and they said they still did not receive the part. We asked if we can just leave the car to get it fixed because this was our third time there. They were hesitant and said no. I got upset and told him it was our THIRD TIME THERE. The guy finally said yes but that it’ll take a few days to order the part and fix it. At that point we were so fed up we agreed.
