This place doesn't have enough staff to help their customers.
I was only here to change the driver's headrest and rear center console's cover, but spent more than 5 hours waiting, and I can see the technicians going back and fourth chatting with other technicians. I will not come back to this location again.

Be careful with your time
Sean the service advisor will tell you anything to feel assured to get you going. His professionalism is under par and has the qualities of a strip used car dealership. The new Car sales department is great on the other hand.

Buyer's remorse with the Pre-Paid Maintenance Plan
I purchased the Pre-Paid Scheduled Maintenance Plan at the time I purchased my new vehicle (Hyundai Sonata Hybrid) exactly 1 year ago. I went in for scheduled maintenance due at 15,000 miles. As per Hyundai's Service Manual, that means an oil change, tires rotation, and replacement of the cabin climate control air filter. I ended up with those items getting replaced, but still "needed" a wheel alignment and a throttle body service? After 1 year and exactly 15,000 miles of use? Of course, those last 2 items aren't part of the required Scheduled Maintenance that is covered by my Pre-Paid Scheduled Maintenance and I had to pay out of my own pocket for those items. Very suspicious.

Shawn was the only light at Puente Hills Hyundai!!!
The service provided by Shawn, my service technician, was exceptional. They policies and programs paid for to Hyundai (i.e. protocol extended warranty, diagnostic check payment) are below average and disappointing. The loop that I, as a customer had to go through just to fix parts that should work is unnecessary and disheartening. The one pleasant moment was working with Shawn who went beyond the call of duty and tried his best to give me the best service and provide me with all the information I needed. His professionalism and hard work were definitely seen and appreciated! Thank you, Shawn. I hope Hyundai takes care of you since I know you didn't even have lunch on how overworked you were!
