Poor Service EVERYTHING!
I purchased my 2005 Sonata from Greenville, TX dealership. From day one I had AC fuse blow out several times each year. I'd take it in for service and still had the AC fuse blow. This year I had one blow every time I turned it on for 3 days in a row! So I took it to the shop. They kept it 5 days!!! They told me the wiring was installed in reverse, and my cost would be $503. I inquired why should I pay anything since it was a factory error that I've lived with since 2005. They said, the warranty expired, the cost is my responsibility. Yet it was never found before! In addition, I was charged a $50 environmental fee. When I asked why, I was told they charge that for every vehicle that comes into their shop. And that it was a Environmental Agency fee requirement. I called TECU, they said they do not impose a mandatory charge for an environmental fee. 5 days and $503 dollars before I got the vehicle back because they couldn't find the problem in a timely manner. Deemed to be a factory problem, I called corporate, who said only the dealer ship can file factory assembly related problems. I informed Greenville Hyundai of this information and the reply I received was, " That's interesting, we don't do that but will look into it." I haven't heard any updates. Greenville Hyundai added and external fuse inline with the AC. What the redneck engineering is this?
They'll never get my business again!
