Detecting what the noise from engine area was and what was needed
I was relieved to hear that the noise was not going to cause an emergency situation for me. They were so kind to show me under the hood of my car exactly where the timing chain and the pulley were and educated me about the options I had to be sure my car would be running normally again soon. I love that they really care about every customer’s safety when they are driving these great vehicles we are privileged to have. Japanese Auto Specialists are the very best place in Jacksonville !

Honest and thorough
My car is 40 years old and David informed me, before he took on the job, that OEM parts may not be available some of the work required.
This proved to be the case and he and his team did not give up until they found acceptable parts to complete the job.
He was honest and straightforward with me about the uncertainties of repairing and maintaining vintage cars and I am grateful he agreed to repair my car, despite his initial reservations.
I am pleased with his work and would recommend his business to anyone that values superior skill and trustworthiness.

Trustworthy and caring
David has been taking care of my S 2000 since we moved to Florida six years ago. He gives us full and complete information, and even tells us things we should be aware of but don’t need to do right now. The car is always in great shape when we pick it up. He goes that extra mile.

AMAZING
Brought my son 2005 Nissan Frontier with power issues and full diagnostic was done and was advised that repair was not financially feasible, not that Japanese Auto couldn't accomplish the repair but would not advise it. They would not take our money just allow us to invest money into a vehicle that we would not come out on a postive financial out come. I cannot express how much I appreciate the honesty.
