Hard to find honest mechanics who do good work and are still affordable, but these guys fit the bill.
I just had them put in a new transmission and am still in shock at how little they charged me. Not going anywhere else as long as they are still here.

. Honesty, reasonable prices, is a rare find these days, everyone is trying to make a quick $$. I had a dealership in Latham that tied to sell over $1,600 in repairs, even said I needed wiper blades that I replaced 3 weeks earlier, brakes, even though the vehicle was previously checked and found everything was good 200 miles earlier. When I called that dealership on the oversell, they doubled down on the lie, even got verbally abusive.. Skinner doesn't do that. Rechecked my vehicle and found none of those repairs the Latham dealership tried to sell were needed. Again Curteous, honest service is what you get at Skinner. Never an oversell, never tell you you need repairs you dont need. They are just a good, honest shop, with good people and I highly recommend.
