Reliable vehicle

This has been one of the most reliable, long lasting vehicles I’ve owned. That has not broken down easily. Had in the family for Many years and still runs good. ?? Chevy’s are built to last and the Malibu is a good style for a 4door car.

This car, now approaching 70,000 miles, has served me well and may have the distinction of being the longest held car I have ever owned. I look forward to at least another two years of reliable service.

Chevy Malibu

This car has served me well with a minimum of maintenance repairs. After 20 years of ownership and 69,000 plus miles I can still depend upon it as a reliable backup to run my errands around Stafford.

For a twenty year old vehicle it is in much better shape, in car years, than I am. It has never let me down and is eminently reliable. A never expected it to give me such faithful service. It will probably outlive me.

It's lasted a long time

Other than a manufacture cliche. The auto theft light keeps the car from starting periodically. They won't fix it but give a fix noted in car manual. Its a great running car and has at least 200000 miles.

malibu 2002

Cars suffers from tons of minor problems brakes / starting problems / replace cooling fans/etc relatively easy to fix.very upset over cost of repair for an anti-theft system hooked into the ignition. Like who is going to steal a 19 year old Chevy? I wished the repair shop could taken out of the car.

Chevy Malibu 2002

I had this 2002 Malibu since 2004. It's always ran great. As long as matience is done. A few items are or can be irritating an least unconvincing. The dash lights like AUTO THEFT. HAS come on randomly several times a year or maybe just 2ce a year. Sometimes that feature causes my car not to turn over. I have to leave it on ALT for 10 min til AUTO THEFT light quits blinking. I did not know this until someone came to help me and found it in Auto manual. Over all it runs really good. If i could get another it would be a Malibu but definitely stay away from 2002.

Overall car

I've always loved Malibu. Not crazy for my car color but for my price ok. It's a very dependable and has always ran well. One yr traveled back and forth from Vanvouver WA to Seattle. The major con is the indicator lights. A manufacture err. Every once in a while the Auto-theft light will come on. Thank goodness not while driving only after trying to start. It was evidently GM problem. The manual tells you what to do when this happens. I really would like a newer Malibu 2017.

A great car

I love the Chevrolet Malibu although this years model wasn't the best but in last 16 years I've had its good with some help from my friends ( Matt's Brake & Alignment). Nice to drive especially on open road

over all good vehicle ,some things tend to break like glove box ,trunk latch and interior roof fabric (but that seems to be almost all chevys. i have 100,000 miles on mine still runs well. has some rust around gas tank and the only major problem was with the a/c after about 10 years.

A great car that gets good gas mileage. A very comfy ride . Have no plans on getting rid of this car!!
