Simple, reliable, and just a hint of quickness. Low maintenance cost.

I don't do all of my own work anymore, but I was still able to pull the seats out, pull the dash apart and install a new stereo, including a sub amp in about 6hrs. The car is simple to maintain. An oil change takes me 15min in my own garage. The oil filter is right in the front. There is no turbo, but the car still has over 200hp. Not bad. That means my insurance is lower too.

My Chevrolet Malibu

For the most part, I have found my little car quite reliable considering the mileage. That being said, we have always had issues with the sensors; always dealing with the engine light on the dash. This can be very irritating. This particular car has ALWAYS been in our family from the time of purchase as a new car.

I have enjoyed 14 years of service .

A wonderful car for highway and city driving. Very comfortable car. Everyone is amazed at the space in the car. Perfect leg spacing and seating is really spacious. I will truly miss this car, good.

She just won't die

Almost 13 years of ownership...former Enterprise rental car...250k miles...still gets an average 25 mpg...drivetrain is going strong...minor oil leak...maybe $5k in repairs and she is still going...most reliable car I've ever owned.

My Malibu is riding real smooth the right size for me everything works and it will give you a warning if something needs to be done. 10 all the way!!!!!! It gets us back back and forth to work my daughter to college shopping and whatever else. We’re very blessed.

Great buy for a used car

Great car! Not the fastest or the flashiest, but extremely reliable, great gas mileage, and understated class make this car definitely worth owning. Even at well over a decade old, the only real issue I've had was the CD player stopped ejecting CDs.. Everything else is like brand new. I especially love the fold-down back seats; people are always surprised when you open the trunk and pull out 8-foot lumber!

Reliable, dependable and inexpensive to maintain

My car has been very dependable. Only 1 recall. For 110,000 miles I've only replaced items that have finally worn out. One set of brakes and muffler are factory installed. If I weren't 70 and was looking for another car, Chevy would be my first stop.

Great car!

I've had no major problems with my car at 107k miles. Things are wearing out as to be expected. Original front brakes. Original muffler. I'm 70 years old and I'm hoping this is the last car I need to buy.

Money pit

I knew when I pitched it in my stomach I would never get my monies worth and boy was I right. Intake problems rockers both sides. Ugh I will not buy another Chevy I will go back to Ford or mission in the future

The Energizer Bunny of Cars

I bought this car from Enterprise with 3000 miles on it in 2006. I do regular routine maintenance and have had a couple fender benders. I have 240k miles on it now and no major repairs from breakdowns. Stock engine, tranny, suspension, AC, electrical, everything major is original. This is the most dependable car I have ever owned in 30 years of car ownership. My first car was a Malibu and it looks like my last car could be a Malibu.

Malibu

The Malibu has been a great car. Starting to fall apart with minor stuff due to the age. It still runs well. I have kept up the maintenance so I should get a few more years. It still looks good. I’m not in a hurry to buy another car.

Excellent

I've had my Chevy since 2006. In 12 years, only 1 out of pocket expense except the normal wear and tear items that need addressed. If I'm correct, I still have my original muffler (106,000 miles). If I weren't retired, I'd be looking at another Chevy. One question: Why don't you bring back the Saturn? They are EVERY WHERE!!

I bought this car from Alternative Motor, in Adams Massachusetts. Paul is the owner, he is truly one of the most decent men I’ve ever met, the car was in excellent condition. No problems so far. My daughter loves it.

Great run-about car

My 2006 Malibu Maxx is amazing. It has 115,000 miles on it and she runs like a dream. The 3.5 litre engine is very quick. All of the gauges are easy to read and all controls are within easy reach.
