2018 New/Used Ford Fusion
My last Ford product was a 1985 Ford P/U. It was bought brand new. The truck performed well enough that I will not say anything bad about it. The only reason I purchased it was because the dealer owed me a sum of money, making this the only option to redeem my money..
We bought the 2018 Ford Fusion at Genesee Valley Ford, also known as Bob Johnson Ford, at the spur of the moment. We had a 2005 Buick Lachase (sic) bought new. We gave this vehicle to our Grandson.
The Ford was given a road test around 9PM driving from East Avon to Geneseo via 390S. The ride was okay and a decision was made to purchase it. Back at the dealership we asked all the right questions as regarding features. Two items discussed were Auto Park and GSP Navigational system. Out in the parking lot neither appeared to work and the salesman said he would have the items gone over by the service department.
We picked the auto up the very next day and drove it home. Because of our ages , I am 81 my wife is a few years younger, we only use the car to go back and forth to Wegmans or Walmart plazas. Less than a mile from our home we drive there four or five times a month. Doctor trips are ride provided by nearby relatives. On the one occasion when we were driven by our daughte4r in the Ford she noticed, 1. the GPS system was not operable, in fact, it wasn't even installed. 2. Forget the Auto Park. We had a buzzer tell us when we were too close to another object. This test was done using the Manual that came with the vehicle.
Also we were sold a demonstrator, a little over 4,000 miles, at a new car price. As I write this today the auto has a little over 5,000 miles on the odometer.
I have talked 3 people out of doing business with Bob Johnson's franchises and before I leave this earth there ,hopefully, be more.!
