Awesome G70 2022 model car

Excellent designed and built, great looking, good features and functions a beauty to behold, to look at and admired a pleasure to drive. For continuous improvement I would recommend improving the fuel economy as it is very poor. Also, allow the daytime running lights to be configurable.

ATL G70

Overall it's a spectacular vehicle but could be tight for large adults. It's become addictive driving it because it is so comfortable and rides smooth. Just like the GV80 but more spicy and sexy, definitely a head turner. Can wait to see the future all electric line up.

BMW look out

This G70 went toe to toe with a BMW M4 on the highway and I was impressed by the G70 responsiveness. The look on the guys face was priceless as he was wondering what kind of car I was driving. Yes I drive the 2022 G70 and you cannot tell what type of car this is. People come up to me asking if it's an Aston Martin or Bentley if you at it from the front they can't believe it is a genesis. Home run with this car.

Laps to Luxury

Coming from sports cars to a luxury car was going to be a stretch, but the G70 does a wonderful job of easing the pain with get up and go along with some of the best comforts available at a very competitive price to the German brands. I can’t see myself switching brands anytime soon, Genesis really came out swinging.

Great Car for the Price

When you look at all the other options (bmw,lexus,audi) You get so much more (bells and whistles) for the same price, The ride and all the options are fantastic, the service is GREAT!! My wife just can not believe how smooth and quick this car is. Just Love it!!!!!

G70 not too shabby

Overall styling, infotainment, and comfort of the car are great for the price point. However, the performance of the car isn’t all that great for what you’re paying. You can spend a couple more grand and get better speed from a German make. Not having the Genesis service program available through ALL Hyundai dealers is rather annoying. I understand they are technically a separate coming, but come on.. The locations are far to spread out.

Beautiful, fun, comfortable and responsive

The Genesis G70 is a good looking car inside and out. I've had several complements from friends and strangers (at stoplights, gas station). The inside looks great. The controls are easy to reach and access while driving. I appreciate the large screen for the car menu and music. The blind spot camera is a great feature also. And when I said fun, it truly is. The power is great, and the handling is amazing. I'm looking forward to taking some more winding roads in the near future.

The new G70

I recently purchased a 2022 G70. So far I am quite pleased with the purchase. I have not driven many miles as yet. Still waiting to have the vehicle front end wrapped with a protective vinyl covering. My limited driving miles have been a pleasure so far. Still getting familiar with all the controls. My performance fun vehicle is our 2013 Porsche 911S Cabriolet. However, looking forward to putting our new Genesis through the paces on some road trips in the future. The 2022 G70 compact sedan was my BMW replacement I've been waiting for. I am not disappointed with our purchase at all this point. Hoping for many satisfying maintenance free miles in the future.

Perfect daily driver

The 2022 Genesis G70 seems to do it all and do it well. Provides a great mixture of comfort, easy road manners along with its high class driving dynamics and power that keeps up with the competition. The 3.3T V6 is smooth and power delivery is excellent with the 8 speed transmission. For the money the Genesis value cannot be beaten while not compromising on class you would expect from the German offerings.

G70 is unstoppable

For half the price of an Audi, Mercedes, or BMW with similar features, the Genesis G70 provides a perfect balance of performance and luxury. The standard technology features make it super competitive for the market but the top of the line features make it a clear cut winner. The v6 turbo engine attacks the road through every curve and straightaway. If you pop it into sport plus mode, the automatic seat bolsters will cradle you as you pull G’s. The cruise control with lane assist and radar essentially make this a self driving vehicle (keep hands on wheel as a precaution) on the highway. Slow down, turbo.

Sleeper

Never expected this car to do what it does. I think people are starting to realize what the car does now because I am constantly being tested and certain car owners with up to 400 hp are consistently left in my rear view mirror. All I will say is, job well done Genesis.

Nice Car But......

This could be a great car if a few things would be addressed by the manufacture. My biggest concern is the rattles and noise that gives this car the appearance that it's built cheap. After less than 1,000 miles I started hear noises. The Driver wiper blade this installed incorrectly, but it could be corrected at the first oil change. I'll have to have the front plate mount by the dealership since there's no mounting place on the grill. Passenger doesn't have adequate place to rest an arm. Back seat is basically worthless. I'm 5-'7 and and the no room behind me to sit. The driver seat doesn't move when leaving the car.

This is my first Genesis. I'm thoroughly impressed. The performance of the car is impressive. Love the exterior design and the interior comfort. Great driving visibility. it realis a luxury vehicle. Additionally, the service I received from my salesperson Phil Claghorn was excellent!

This car is amazing…for the price, the horsepower, interior and overall thrill to drive is second to none in this price category.

Definitely go for the 3.3 turbo because it is super sporty and surprisingly fast for the price category. The smaller Audi and BMW that compares to the G 70 is slower, less equipped and more expensive. It’s super sporty and surprisingly quick …I love it !

Great car and comparable with MB, BMW, and Audi

Great car for the price. Incredible performance and technology. Gas economy not so good but it is a huge engine. It is really confortable in the front seats. Not so good in the back seats. Small trunk and storage spaces. A lot of small technical details that makes it awesome like the option to move the copilot seat been sit in the pilot seat.

I absolutely love this car! I wanted something different! Something no one else has! Love the stylings the interior sold me on the launch edition I am a car person. I research all cars when I buy I had a Hyundai Genesis coupe that was my baby!! And a Hyundai kona but when I saw the g70 I had to have it!! So I traded both cars to get the g70 and now it’s my new baby

I had a Hyundai Genesis coupe and a Hyundai Kona that I traded on the g70 I had to have one now that’s my new baby love the look and styling love the interior the power is wonderful all the technology is crazy what is on this car this is my second genesis and will buy again

Aggressive Styling, Fun to Drive

I was hooked once I saw the 2022 refresh of the G70. Its aggressive styling, coupled with awesome power, a luxurious cabin and high build quality make this a must drive if you're looking for a luxury car. I bought the G70 3.3T RWD with the Sport Prestige package in Mallorca Blue and it turns heads wherever I go. The steering and handling in Sport+ mode is tight and responsive and the Brembo brakes provide yet another layer of safety. I often use the full 365 (368 in Sport+ mode) horsepower and it always puts a big smile on my face. Controls are easy to use and intuitive and the Nappa leather seats with the contrast red stitching make it truly feel like a luxury car. Storage is limited (as with many sportier cars) and the back seat is a bit small but for an almost empty nester it's perfect. Even with the upgraded engine and top-of-the-line package the price is very attractive. The G70 has all the same bells and whistles (and possibly a few more) as the BMW and Mercedes I was considering in the same class yet was nearly $10K less as built. My one and only complaint is needing to use a cord to access Apple CarPlay. Seems antiquated, especially with wireless charging in the car. Other than that I love everything about the redesigned G70!

You really should cross-shop this against Audi S4/S5, BMW 340, etc.

The V6 G70 feels like the car BMW used to make before they lost their way. The car is ~15% less than comparable German sports sedans, but based on the quality and features it leads me to believe they are losing money to gain market share. It's that surprisingly good. With anticipated better reliability, a great warranty, and anticipated lower repair costs (I bought my car, so this is important to me) than the Germans, you really owe it to yourself to cross-shop it against any other compact sports sedan priced under $65k.

Way to go GENESIS!

I can not say enough about the love I have for this car. Genesis has really stepped up in the game. Gorgeous, sporty, and luxury all in one. I love the satin white matte finish and Brembo breaks. It is definitely a head turner. I’m so glad I saw this car on the showroom floor!

THE NEW JAMES BOND CAR

You need to Test drive one and you’ll understand why this 2022 G70 is the new James Bond. When activated into Sport + mode, it turns the vehicle into a race car. So many settings change right before your face. It’s awesome. It handles great, and accelerates wonderful. Plus appearance makes it futuristic!
