Performance and feature rich

The vehicle feels upscale with performance as advertised. Nicely appointed with a good infotainment system. Rated on a curve as four and half (4.5) is closer to actual. All digital display, wireless CarPlay and more legroom in back would have been a five.

A solid fun car to drive

A great car with great styling. … but missing a few key features. And also has a few quirks. It has no ambient lighting. It builds no boost during launch control use. It does not have a full digital display like all the other cars listed in its class. Car is also a bit slow.

2022 G70 Launch Edition - Matte Gray with the 3.3 Turbo and red leather interior

Beautiful car. I don't know how Genesis got the ride so quiet and comfortable ride but also engineered great handling/performance. Top notch interior and fit and finish, the leather and trim, even the headliner are all top grade materials... nothing feels plastic. The 3.3T engine is very responsive, transmission is smooth. Takes a second for the twin turbos to spin up but they really kick in! Electronic suspension is amazing. This car is nearly as quick as my 2010 Shelby GT500 (0-60 anyways) but actually handles much better, ride it better, and the interior materials/fit and finish are FAR better. The technology is off the charts, car would drive itself if I let it (360 camera, lane assist, cruise, warning system, etc. are all amazing). It's obvious that Genesis' poaching of engineers and designers from the Euro car makers is paying off. Nicest car I've ever had, and for $10-15K less than similar Benz/BMW/Lexus/Audis.

Best 50k Sedan For the Money

Best 50k Sedan For the Money. Not the fastest in its class but overall best bang for buck hands down and plenty fast enough. Great competent ride. Tons of features standard and still costs way less than competition. No compromise small luxury sport sedan.

Genesis of Springfield G70 Purchase.

This vehicle is a driver’s car while still having all the luxury and technology you could as for in a sports sedan. The power is nicely balance with multiple drive mode to fulfill your every driving desire. The interior is luxuriously comfortable for its class and competes easily with the big boy competition while still being very affordable. Got love this car.

G70 Launch

Love the car its absolutely beautiful and is so fun to drive! The only hiccup would be the Matte Paint on the Launch model. I do know genesis is offering matte paint on other models. It was so nice they provided all the cleaning kits and an instruction manual. However it would be nice if they trained all the dealership service departments on applying Dr. Beasley's Matte Paint ceramic coating. I wasn't able in our state to get the Dr. Beasley's ceramic coating done and ended up having to pay thousands more to get the car matte vinyl wrapped to protect the paint.

Genesis G70, 3.3T AWD

Compared to applicable model competitors, i.e. Acura, BMW, Mercedes, Audi or Volvo, the Genesis is miles ahead in value for the money. In every specifically noticeable area to include comfort, build quality, performance (a 3.3 litre, twin-turbo V6 AWD screamer!), fun to drive, features, reliability (warranty!), overall styling, (interior and exterior design), the Genesis blows them all away. Further, all Genesis come w/three years Complimentary Maintenance, Valet Service and Map Care! (Compare THAT!) Our car's finish is done in Himalayan Gray Metallic that, simply stated, is "sparklingly" STUNNING! Complimenting this brilliance is a gorgeous interior w/plush leather seating, 1/2 dash and door panels done in a medium tan named DUNE/DUNE w/actual aluminum and real wood accents plus contrast-color accent stitching on seating borders, dash and even on the leather-covered steering wheel! The car has more convenience and assist features than imaginable and is in all respects, a truly remarkable engineering achievement.

Phenomenal value

The car is amazing for the price. Yes, there are some cars in this segment that look better, or perform better, or are cheaper, or have more features, or have more technology. But not all in one package. This is my first new car ever and I'm blown away at the quality of the car.

Great, smart vehicle. 2022 is a beautiful car.

I own a G90 and helped purchase a 2022 G70 for a family member. This is a fantastic vehicle - my family will always look to Genesis for any new future car purchase. My wife is eyeing the GV70 as her next vehicle - we are not ready yet but will likely move in that direction. You cannot beat the combination of quality, price, and warranty of a Genesis.

Great looks and ride

Super impressed with vehicle. Never owned a Genesis but no complaints so far. Car is everything I wanted and expected. Love the ride quality, the color, the features are a mile long. Glad I purchased this car even after looking at BMW and Lexus as alternatives.

Great vehicle

Not sure it’s so much of an upgrade from the previous version other than the new infotainment system. The car handles well but my car came supplied with all season tires verse the previous versions summer tires which handled extremely well. The car is a more comfortable ride than the previous version though.

Love my G70

Could not be happier with my new G 70, I have lost count of how many people have commented on how gorgeous it is. The design inside and out, it’s just perfect. They have just enough physical buttons and knobs for what matters compared to an all digital everything. It came with a true spare tire which was a dealbreaker for me if it did not have one, just ask anyone that has tried to use one of those fix a flat kits on low profile tires. The power of the TwinTurbo V6 takes your breath away. Some friends have started calling me Bruce Wayne ,since my black forest green appears black at night, and that front end makes it look like the Batmobile. The Genesis five-year 60,000 mile bumper-to-bumper warranty is the best in the industry. We already have plans on adding a genesis GV 80 to our garage. There are a lot of great manufacturers out there, and cars these days look better than ever in most cases, but the Genesis really sets itself apart with its design, performance, luxury, and warranty. And you get a lot more for your money with Genesis. I’ve had multiple European brands in the past, and they are fine, until it’s time to repair them?

A great car! 4.5 rating.

I really like this car. It's looks are modern and of luxury. The sound of the variable exhaust is A+. Nice, sporty drive. Definitely going after the German cars. Interior design looks great with nice materials. The only thing that would make it THE car, the sport seats are not forgiving. Very hard to find a comfortable position.

Awesome car great price

Great car, fun to drive, features and comfort well worth the money… way quicker and faster than it look …. Great luxury sports car. Love the technology in this vehicle the more I drive it the more I love it. The paint color is very unique haven’t seen the same color car on the road yet ;)

2022 G70 3.3L Sport

Excellent handling and acceleration! Front seat comfort is excellent. Value for the money excellent. Looks like gas mileage is slightly above EPA estimate. Depending on age, might want to upgrade to Prestige just to get adaptive dampers. Base suspension is good, probably better than A4. The ability to soften the suspension on less than perfect roads becomes more necessary the older you become. But, still able to tighten it up on mountain twistys.

2022 G70 Twin Turbo AWD: Smitten!!

Unwittingly purchased a sports sedan featuring a luxury car's refinement exceeding my expectations....The body refinements of the 2022 G70 have made it a pleasure to look at. One friend of mine having seen mine parked in my driveway thought I had just purchased a Porsche. He was surprised that the G70 was a Hyundai descendant.

My second G70

I recently traded in my 2020 G70 3.3 Elite for a 2022 G70 3.3 Sports Prestige. When initially purchasing my first G70, the Sport model wasn't available, but the Elite trim was very appealing and drove excellent. My decision to switch cars was a personal, deep down feeling I had to do, and it was a perfect choice because the handling of the Sport trim is excellent! I'm so happy with my new purchase. My salesman Vinny was very courteous and made my time at the dealership very pleasant. Thank you

New '22 Launch Edition - trouble starting

I purchased a new 2022 G70 Launch Edition. Within the first week, I had an issue with the car starting. The brake would not depress causing the push start not to work. In driving the car only several times, this issue has now happened twice (owned the car ~3 weeks). The dealer was unable to replicate the issue and so currently there is no fix. This appears to be a known issue with older model G70s. So, it is pretty ridiculous that this issue has not been fixed on the new model. Overall, it greatly concerns me that the supposedly "premier" launch edition has issues within the first week of ownership. So, I fully expect the other trim levels to have issues. Supposedly, Genesis is supposed to have excellent predicted reliability, but my experience so far bodes very poorly for long term worry-free ownership. In summary, I have purchased many new cars, but this is the first one I have ever regretted buying. Therefore, I would not recommend anyone purchasing a G70.
