Visibility concerns

The side view mirrors create a visibility problem for me when I turn right or left. View of a whole section of road or parking garage is obstructed by these mirrors. And I am unable to raise the driver’s seat enough to to see above these mirrors for more information.

a great new luxury car

The G80 is a superb vehicle not only for the price but for the fit, finish, and high-level amenities. This vehicle is on a par with, or exceeds, the equivalent German luxury vehicles which I've previously owned. If you can live without badge envy, this vehicle is highly recommended.

Dont understand question

Worth a spin.....

I find my G80/5.0 has essentially all the bells and whistles the Infinti/Mercedes/BMWs have but without the higher price tag. Its sleekness, strong engine and comfort makes the vehicle secretively aggressive without taking away its classiness. The car is fun to drive but rather large to be called a mid-size car. Although it's a very impressive vehicle it's not without its flaws. Some of the flaws include gas mileage and sound system. The gas mileage is the worse. The car is the lowest miles per gallon when rated against similar vehicles and seems like I'm always filling it up even when I put the transmission in economy mode. The sound system can use some tweaking in the bass department. Adding bass to your music selection is almost nonexistent. All in all I haven't regretted purchasing my G80.

Great car. VERY GOOD REVIEW; COVERED ALMOST EVERY POSSIBILITY. COULD BE IMPROVED ONLY BY PROVIDING MORE DRIVERS SPACE AND AVAILABLE ADJUSTMENTS TO DRIVERS SEAT. ALSO,, ADDITIONAL LEG-ROOM UNDER THE STEERING WHEEL WOULD BE NICE. GENERALLY, THE VEHICLE IN REVIEW WOULD BE MORE COMFORTABLE WITH SOFTER SEATS.

Love this car!

Perhaps the best car I ever owned. Previous owner of Jaguars, Infinity Q45, and Lexus SC 430. Great features, styling, and fun to drive! Valet service is a really nice touch. In the two years I’ve owned the vehicle, have not had any service other than routine maintenance.

Second one in a row!

This is the second Genesis for me. The first one was more equipped but didn’t have the all wheel drive option and it was not the best car for every day driving in Minnesota winter even though I very much enjoyed it on dry roads. This is a better choice but I had to give up some of the options for affordability purpose. At any rate, I am very happy with my choice and enjoy the drive every time.

CAR HAS PERFORMED VERY WELL : NO PROBLEMS. AS FANCY A CAR THAT IT IS, IT SHOULD HAVE A HEATED STEERING WHEEL. WE HAVE HAD NUMEROUS COMMENTS ABOUT IT'S STYLISH DESIGN AND LOOKS. HOWEVER, I WISH IT WERE AVAILABE IN A MAROON COLOR. IT RIDES SMOOTHLY AND HAS VERY LITTLE ROAD NOISE.

Genesis- give them a try before you buy.

Purchased a leftover 2018 G80 ultimate 5.0 h-trac. This car has been great so far. Have owned it for just over 1 year. There has not been any issues whatsoever. Car is used every day.On the interstate this car is in its element. Smooth and quiet. Great safety equipment to assist if needed. Fuel economy on the interstate is a-plus. Cruise set at 70 mph returns 29 mpg. City driving there is enough power to pull away and get around just about anything. In the snow ,starting out a little slippage and then it finds the traction. To be fair I did not change out the tires to a winter set like I normally do. Regarding the snow driving portion you feel safe and in control which is most important . In comparison to the audi S4 in the snow they are identical. What you get for your money is simply more than the other guys( audi- mercedes-bmw). As for getting over the monaker on the hood, no problem at all for me. If you are in the market, you owe it to yourself to test drive one. I think if you look at it objectively you will see why the Genesis G80 is a fine automobile.

Love this car!

Love this car, if you purchase in Grand Rapids make sure you have serviced in Holland! Car handles great in the snow and rain. Graphics on the navigation system are perfect. The fact the you can talk to the car while driving and look up a location is so nice, as it is not always convenient to put your car in park!

This is the 3rd one I have leased over the last 10 years. I have absolutely ZERO complaints about this car or any of the other 2 I leased. I love everything about it!!!! I cannot wait to see this year's model when my lease comes up again. Bring it on!!!!

Great value

Love this car. My previous car was a BMW 740iL and I love my Genesis G80 just as much. It drives and has all the bells and whistles just like the BMW but at a much more reasonable price. I highly recommend it. Waiting to see what the new Genesis SUV will be like. I hope it has the same control knob on the central console. It’s very user friendly.

Awesome car

I have owned a lot of cars in my 84 years. This is the best car I have ever owned. The best I can say is every time I get behind the wheel I feel good !! When you are asking me for my time you should not tell me that I have so much I should write!!!!!!!!!!!!! You must know every one wants a review. You buy a roll of toilet paper they want a review!!

comfortable luxury

My wife and I were given a Genesis as a rental car a few years ago. We were totally impressed with the comfort and handling. So the next time we got a rental, we upgraded to a Genesis to make sure we truly loved the car. It was! We drove over 2 hours to get to the dealership that had the exact car we wanted to purchase. It is very roomy in the front AND back seat. I'm over 6' and have plenty of leg room. No problems in the past year since purchase. We still love it.

Silence Class

The G80 is a vehicle that makes an impression simply for being the Genesis G80. Heads turn with it's design speaking for itself. The ride is smooth and comfortable, plety of leg room. I travel a lot and comfort was one of my priorities along with style when I was looking to purchase another vehicle. The other luxury vehicles didn't come close to what the Genesis G80 had to offer. I continue to be extremely satisfied with my vehicle and when it's time to purchase another in the distant future, Genesis will be in my sites.

Love it

Love my car. All the bell & whistles at a great price. Competes with the luxury car market. No mechanical issues in 2 years of ownership. Keeping that new car feel. safety features are well placed and ease of driving is so enjoyable. I enjoy driving and my car gives me all the power I enjoy on the freeway.

Very nice riding, handling vehicle. But once had a recall performed vehicle has not been the same and it has me concerned. I hope my next service visit is more pleasant and all issues are resolved. Very nice car to be receiving such sub standard service.

Like very much, but not as nice as the Equus. Generally really nice ride and appearance excellent. Driver seat not adequate for driver under 5' tall. Trunk is too small, might be nice to consider fold down rear seat. Highly recommend to friends and family.
