Will the Valet service really be available for you?

Its a great car but they hype up the valet services and paint a picture of you never being inconvenienced by having to take your car to the dealership. My experience has been very different. If you car is close to needing service you will be declined an appointment until it actually needs service. Once it actually needs service you will be offered a valet pickup 6-8 weeks in the future. Can you afford to wait that long when the car needs service? If you can, great.

GV Review

Almost perfect, but a few issues with the rear exterior and miscellaneous items. This is a sporty yet simply elegant vehicle (from most angles). There are a few items that looked like parts were carried over from a cheaper Hyundai parts bin (start/stop button , rear Badge ).

everything with the car is great but iam not sure of the company as they decided to drop the dealership in dayton ohio with very little notice. and its impossible to get valet service for our car out of columbus or cinci.they should atleast provide adequate service facilites in the affected areas. its kind of overpromising and under delivering. no way to run a premium brand. very very disappointing

Nice car

This is my first Korean car. When I saw it, I knew it was mine! The appearance is very beautiful and the interior is perfect, which subverts my impression of Korean cars. I think I will buy another one! I never knew there was this brand. I accidentally saw it in the parking lot. It's different. I like this car very much

Excellence personified

Simply the best car I’ve ever owned. Beautiful inside and out and easy to drive. I haven’t been this excited about a car since I bought my 1968 MGB. Service is second to none in my experience and was a huge factor in purchasing the GV70! Thanks, Genesis.

Second love in my life

Best car I have ever owned. Beautiful styling, handling, braking. I am asked in parking lots what is it!!! Fun to drive when on a trip or short hop. Dealer & sales people were the nicest and not pushy--did not need to push when selling this great product.

Very frustrated with this car!

I have been a Hyundai owner for over 20 years. Love the brand! Never had a problem with either car (Santa FE and Sonata). I was excited to purchase the Genesis GV70 (thus staying in the Hyundai company). We have had nothing but trouble with it from the day we brought it home! Very frustrating! I know they are great vehicles, just not this one! Heart breaking!

Driveline problems

3300 miles transfer case replaced and now differential defective waiting on replacement. Loved the truck until all these failures. Looking for buyback and replacement to give Genesis another shot. First model year hoping 2023 are better.

My GV70

Beautiful vehicle. Love the color combinations. Unbelievable performance with its 3.5 twin turbo. Gas mileage could be better. Ride quality is very nice. We have had issues with the metal trims around the windows. Dealer tried buffering it and damaged the paint. This could have been avoided if trim was originally replaced. The exhaust sound is very quiet instead of being a little rumbling based on the 3.5 engine. Overall, good vehicle for the money even with those issues.

Over all this vehicle is excellent. There have been zero problems. This car is very fun and easy to drive. There are tons of safety features which can easily be turned off if they are not needed or wanted. With all the cameras on this vehicle, if anyone hits anything, they should not be driving!

Love my car!

Even though there has been a few little glitches I still love my car. It's beautiful and it drives so nice. And we constantly get stopped by people asking what kind of car it is and how stunning it is. We have had the "service engine" light come on a few times and have had some difficulty with the dealership getting a resolution but it's not something that is urgent. Other than that we have loved our car!

Happy Happy GV70 owner

I absolutely love this car. Aside from a few features that need a little tweaking. It does not take away from the overall quality and drivability of the car. The technology is outstanding and seems to be well thought out. The interior is so versatile that it fits my 6'1 husband to me at 5'3. The backseat fits my very tall teenager and dog just fine. The vehicle is so comfortable on long drives and the gas mileage is good.

The car is beautifully designed don’t get me wrong, my only thing is that after some time some of the parts start to come off on their own. With me it happened immediately with the little mudguards that it came with they’re not there anymore and I don’t know how that even happened.

Gorgeous car with high performance

I love the look and driveability of the GV70. It performs well in every drive mode and can really fly. Unfortunately it has more glitches than I'd like for a higher end suv like this but genesis works to fix the issues and provides a loaner. Still glad I purchased this vehicle.

My Favorite Vehicle To Date

I purchase (and own/have owned) MANY vehicles. I usually drive several vehicles at a time, and this by far, is my favorite vehicle to drive. I was impressed with the comfort, ability to focus on driving while performing minor tasks inside the vehicle, and the complete feeling of safety while driving. My family used to complain on road trips, even in larger vehicles, regarding comfort and convenience, but this vehicle has come with the fewest complaints. I love driving and this vehicle has satisfied everything I enjoy about having to run an errand or take a long trip. I no longer get upset when I run out of a grocery since I get to take even a short ride in my GV70. I will admit that I don't get the same satisfaction while looking at the lower trim models, I have the Prestige, but I'm sure they will make someone just as happy as mine makes me.

Genesis GV70

After one year with the GV70, my feelings are mixed. While I like the styling and comfort I can't say that I am in love with this vehicle. The fuel economy is a little on the low side for this size of vehicle and the brakes are sensitive resulting in excessive braking when only a light touch is required. What vehicle would I replace it with? Well having owned Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, and Lexus during the past several years I would probably go to my fallback position of an MB.

Absolutely a beautiful car with a unique and stand alone design from top to bottom, except for the wheels. I love the many safety features like the driver lane assist and collision avoidance features. The premium sound system is outstanding but could use better subwoofers. The Drive shifter and Entertainment knob should be switched for intuitive convenience.

Amazing Vehicle

This car is a dream to drive. The only things I dont like are the lack of any exhaust note, no custom ambient lighting color wheel, and the range is very limited with the 3.5 engine. Other than that the car is very nice to look at inside and out and the driving experience is fantastic.

Outstanding exterior and interior design, no other vehicles in class could be compared against. Useful features not offered by other manufacturers. Attention to details are present throughout the interior and exterior of vehicle. Suggest auto start-stop feature as driver chosen option (turn it on) instead of other way around. Offer 'Ambient Lighting' as stand alone option on base and Select models for customers to choose.

Excellent experience with a few caveats

Great looking and performing vehicle. Very quick. Mileage is good but not great. Rear leg room is almost non existent, adults can not really sit in the back. The nav system is deficient. But I use Car Play so not too bothered by that. But overall I love the GV70
