Its Just the beginning

This automobile has so much more to offer than the competition at this price. The sales process was as good as the competition or better. I was always a Lexus fan but they have priced themselves out of the market. Genesis has replaced them. The styling is perfect. I often hear it has Porche look.

GV70

The vehicle looks beautiful and drives very nicely. I am disappointed with the finish on the vehicles exterior window trim as it is badly spotted and fading. I had this same problem on my new G80. I am also disappointed that the limited slip differential communication module is now defective in the vehicle and it has happened within the first year of ownership with only 3750 miles on it. Another nuisance is that the radio/tuner will freeze periodically on any given station and cannot be changed until the vehicle is turned off and then turned back on. Many times it is still frozen after turning the vehicle back on and the only way to get it to reset is to leave the vehicle off for several minutes before trying it again.

Buy at your risk and expect poor customer service

Buy this car!

This is a great midsize SUV. Great driving car both in city and highway. Very comfortable seating and I love using voice controls so I can focus on the road. What drew me to the car was the beautiful styling and the Genesis reliability and warranty. There are many choices in the vehicle size but none have the performance, styling, and support of Genesis

Excellent car with lots of features for the price. Fun to drive, great looking and comfortable ride. No noises, great build quality, growing great brand recognition. Vehicle gets lots of compliments and looks. Be prepared for 20MPG or less V6 fuel mileage but enjoy the twin turbos.

Superb vehicle

I absolutely love the GV70. The styling is very attractive and people stop me all the time to ask about it. The engine is quick and responsive. I am a techy so I appreciate all that the GV70 has. The large touch screen display is tremendous. It is the best vehicle I have ever owned.

Excellent Vehicle

Driving the GV70 is such a pleasant experience. It has all of the bells & whistles of a luxury suv and more. The design theme is carried out throughout the car. The exterior looks fabulous, it has excellent stitching and extremely comfortable seats. Options are endless with the amount of security and safety measures taken by Genesis. The price of this vehicle is very reasonable for all of the extras that are standard. Once you’re behind the wheel you understand why the GV70 won 2022 SUV awards.

Exceptional Vehicle!

This vehicle is remarkable is so many ways. All the features of a higher priced competitor. Interior is comfortable and controls are easy to use. The vehicle assistance features are wonderful and provide an added layer of protection. Styling is exceptional.

Best SUV's for it's price and quality

Excellent vehicle. With Genesis you always get more for your money so a great value! This is my first SUV and I couldn't be happier with the GV70. It's smooth, classy, a bit sporty and has everything I've looked for in a vehicle. I highly recommend this Genesis SUV to anyone interested in a smaller SUV

Bang for buck.

Dynamic offering of power, styling and comfort in one package. Twin turbo is a delight to drive. It's difficult to find a dealer who is not marking up the vehicles but it certainly a better offering as compared to BMW and Audi. Extremely stylish and filled with features and it would take a day or two to get through all those. Except the dealership experience there's absolutely nothing wrong with it if you are looking for a compact luxury SUV.

Pros: design in and out, red quilted seats, fun engine, tons of leg/head/storage room, good features, and it stands out Cons: fuel economy is garbage, brakes are a bit grabby, wish passenger seat had massage like Volvos, wheel designs aren’t pretty, no wireless apple CarPlay

Stunning performance, comfort, convenience and engineering

This car has a regal feel and outstanding looks. We've had zero issues with reliability or initial build quality. The color offerings were unusual and the car really stands out. You can carry 4 adults with great comfort, even 80 plus year olds as the rear doors open to nearly 90 degrees. The engine and exhaust notes are toned down but still let you know your car performs well. Storage/cargo space is reasonable. Super happy with the car.

Beautiful, stylish, technologically advanced. A dream to own, a must have for others❤️ Purchased the GV70 in Adriatic blue (vanilla interior), Advanced package (missing very minimal from Sport package). Love everything about the car, smooth drive and just an overall luxurious feel. Many compliments including strangers just walking by!

GV70

After a year driving the GV70 it has truly been rewarding and has exceeded all expectations about the vehicle. The comfort,build quality and performance have been amazing including the awesome fun to drive factor. Overall design is top notch with both the exterior and especially the interior design so satisfying. I definitely will recommend this vehicle ? to my family and friends, in fact I’ve been impressed by the Genesis brand that I’m considering getting a GV60 as my first EV whenever it comes available in our location.

Great promises but I got a problem vehicle

I had such great hopes for this vehicle and loved it for the first 1-2 months. Then the problems started. It’s been in the shop 7-8 times in the first year and is going back in two weeks (should be sooner but takes that long to get an appointment). Maybe it’s just my vehicle but I’m terribly disappointed.

Constantly in for repairs.

Connected services didn’t work for 11 of 12 first months. Check engine light is on for the 4th time. Brake pads failed at 15000 miles. Inconsistent service experience. I had great hopes for this vehicle and the reviews seemed to support it. Unfortunately it has been my worst performing new vehicle (out of 14).

Great vehicle with the right amount of comfort and sport!

Bought this vehicle after waiting for a GV80 for months, don't regret it for a second. Gas mileage is the only thing I wish was better. Even though it's not as spacious as the GV80 I think it looks better and it is much more fun to drive. I look forward to anytime I need to go somewhere now that I own the GV70.

Love this ride.

I have gotten more acknowledgement with this car than any other I've owned. Nods, waves, smiles and stopped for conversation. People want to see the interior and ask a lot of questions. Feel like a celebrity driving this vehicle. Overall very satisfied with my new ride.

Meets all your expectations

Overall, the car is terrific. Kudos to the entire Genesis team for creating a true, new luxury brand. I can't speak for all the dealerships throughout the US, but in the NYC area where I live, both the cars and the brand will benefit greatly when the entire dealer network matches the type of luxury the brand deserves, it'll be a complete success.
