Great SUV except sunroof noise

Great design, beautiful interior! The only complaint is the very obnoxious wind noise from sunroof. This should of been caught before releasing to production. I am also very disappointed that Glenbrook Hyundai charges me $4000 of MSRP. We have purchased 3 Hyundai/ Genisis from this dealer in the last 15 months. The market availability surcharge will be remembered on future car purchases.

As I mentioned earlier the vehicle was totaled in early January, it's a superior vehicle, and I can't say more than what has been said within the survey. While the vehicle was totaled while doing 30 mph in an unusual accident. I believe the safety features prevented the car from colliding with vehicles in the adjacent lane. I hit a rather large rock that was on the edge of road, and the vehicle was brought to a complete stop with 30 to 40 feet. I walked away from the accident and did not have an ache or pain the next day.

Perfect except for the electronic controls

Overall, the GV70 exceeded my expectations. It has all the features (and then some) of a comparably equipped Mercedes GLC300 for about $15K less. It has been a dream to drive. I just wish the electronic controls were more intuitive and easier to use. Commands are buried three (or more!!) clicks deep. There is a H-U-G-E learning curve to the controls/interface. Even with all that being said, this is by far the best vehicle I've ever owned. Practical, luxurious, and fun to drive...what's not to love???

The vehicle is definitely worth the price. Dealership and the concierge service isn’t what they make it seem from the ads and selling point. Car looks beautiful. Tires and rims aren’t anything to talk about. Car play is very glitchy Paint chips easy

Nice design great performance nothing to complain.

I love the vehicle but mileage is not better than I expected. Water bottle is not offered in USA. Overall nice car Hyundai finally made nice car. When I see a rear view mirror at night interior light is reflected. I don't know why this happened. But that is small scratch everything else is very nice car.

From point of purchase at dealership to the on road experience, the Genesis GV70 Advanced is by far the best car in its class. Manufacturers quality, styling and ease of driving makes this SUV a top choice for anyone looking to buy in this market. Those are the words that a lady shouted to us from across a very large empty parking lot as we were stopping to switch drivers when test driving the car and she was getting into her Genesis SUV...as if she was some Genesis angel that suddenly mysteriously appeared. That's what I feel like shouting to all the other potential Genesis CV70 owners! "You're gonna love it!"

Great performance suv. Local dealers in St Louis area are sub-par. If I was back in Naples where I purchased this auto, they would probably be easier and more willing to work with me. It’s costing me $500 to fix a passenger side window which just cracked behind side mirror in lower front corner. No way a rock could have hit window without causing damage to side mirror. But that is what the dealer is claiming. I have friends who have had this same problem with genesis and Kia’s and Hyundai autos. Maybe there glass has a problem?

This is a great auto. The manufacturer push this as a premium product with white glove service. Pick up, loaner cars, and first class workmanship. According to dealer “due to covid, we can not honor our commitment “. This is just wrong!! They sell the hype, but don’t deliver.

18k miles no problems

Two free maintenance services so far and not an issue to report and after my six months of electrical gremlins in my brand new dream BMW, I’m smiling. 3.5t Sport Advanced Brunswick green matte and vanilla interior gets people to walk right up to me and start talking. Genesis? Who makes that? ? So I explain. Genesis calls it Athletic Luxury and that was spot on. Plenty of power and fun but I have a 600 hp Vette if I really need to scratch that itch, so comfort and just not being boring caught my attention. I’m getting the advertised mileage 25+ at 79 mph on the interstate. The full massage seats come in handy for my work days. The AWD worked fine this winter but it was mild for WI. Michelins Primacy on attractive 19 inch wheels are great but this really needs 21 inch wheels so I put some Ferrada f8 on it ?

Motor Trend Car of the Year for a Reason

We picked up our new Genesis GV70 a few weeks ago and we are not disappointed in the least. What a beautiful vehicle and it's loaded with everything anyone would ever want in an SUV. What surprised me the most is the roominess of the interior. I'm 6'1" and there are no issues whatsoever. Also, the styling, ride and interior noise levels are exceptional. We've driven Mercedes for years and this car is every bit the equal of a GLC300. We look forward to many great road trips ahead!

Looks Great but…

My GV70 is definitely a head turner, but there are shortcomings that I hope is fixed soon. I have less than 3K miles and the fuel economy is 20 mpg with 40 -45 miles driven mostly highway. The engine idles high. There is a weird hesitation when accelerating and the braking isn’t good. The navigation audio is extremely low and can’t be heard over the radio/media. The fingerprint reader doesn’t work for Apple iPhone users, the Bluetooth is hit or miss, and wired CarPlay is also hit or miss. The seats are comfy but are too firm for my tastes. The cargo space is adequate, and the backseat is spacious for average size people. This is the first year model so I expect more improvements in subsequent years. They got most things right.

The Genesis GV79 is the best I’ve ever bought or driven. There really isn’t any comparison to it and I love everything about it. The drive is smooth and great. It’s just a beautiful car, a head turner. I really enjoy driving it and feel very secure while driving and that mean a lot to me. It makes sure you are attentive while driving, almost like it has a mind of it own. I also love the interior especially at night because it just glows. I have recommended my GV 70 to everyone and will definitely purchase another but next time an electric. What can I say. This SUV is the best on the market.

Dealership overcharging for this vehicle. I feel this vehicle should have come with the cover and net for the trunk area instead dealership selling for $200.00 and something a piece so sad. Genesis need to offer some free items for the purchase of these vehicle.
