Not your Father's Honda

I bought this car because of the amazing history of great cars Honda has produced. This one broke the rules. It has a cylinder management system that does not work correctly, drinks oil in excess of 1 qt. every few hundred miles when using factory specified oil, explodes spark plugs when it shuts down cylinders, has a finicky power steering system that eats pumps, and it eats $200.00 tires like candy every 20k miles or so. It's road noisy and rides like a dump truck. The drivers seat has a lumbar support that will cripple some people. I'm one it does but my wife is fine, even good for her, so it's her car. All this being said, it's a VERY solid car with great safety features, and handles quite well in most conditions. Body wise, the plastic grille has bubbled up the chrome and all the black plastic is turning white. Paint is excellent. If they solved these problems it would be what Honda used to be, a first class machine.

Accord for Uber and Lyft

I bought a 2009 Accord for driving. I own a BMW and this car is not as fine a car as that but it does everything well and is fun to drive. Folks I pick up driving for Uber and Lyft often compliment the car!

My 8 year old car is nearly new as I abide strictly by the service manual and keep the car clean as well as only 78k miles.

Purchased new. This car has been a great investment. The most reliable vehicle I have owned along with my Toyota Tacoma! The only issue I would suggest to Honda is to address the road noise inside car.

This a very comfortable and roomy 4 dr. sedan. The V-6 engine is strong and very fast off the line. My Honda EXL has 91 K miles and with runs like it is brand new. Never had any major repair issues and keep up with the required regular maintenance. The car sits 5 adults very comfortably. The truck is very spacious. My only complaint is the V-6 engine requires a timing belt change every 60 k miles or 5 years whatever comes first , and that can be a little costly from about $700 - $800 based on current mechanic hourly repair labor.

I’ve had this vehicle since 2012 and still enjoy my vehicle,as if it was new the safety features are great and keeping up on your maintenance helps with the life expectancy of the car and make it affordable to maintain, and good on gas

LOVE MY HONDA

Have had this vehicle since I purchased it new in 2009. It now has only 26000 miles on it and I have no intention of selling, trading, donating or any other method of getting rid of it. As an older retired woman I drive very little as my husband does most of the driving. As you can see, the vehicle doesn't go much of anywhere.

2009 Honda Accord

Disaccord is not as good as my last one which was a 2001. That car is still running and doing excellent with minimal maintenance. This one has been more of a maintenance pain to take care of. The rubber did not hold up as good as the rubber on the 2001. Which is amazing because it’s nine years older. Seems that they’ve let their quality slip there. The drivetrain isn’t holding up as good as the original. Again seems they let that slipped as well. The engine is excellent the transmission is better than the old 2001. That transmission had to be repaired after I owned it just a few years. The rest the car seems to be holding up pretty well. The paint faded too easily. The old 2001 paint is still pretty good compared to the 2009 it is much better.

2009 Accord EXL V6 Navi

Purchased this car with 160k, and over past 6 years put 70k on it. Has been a great car, but if it wasn't a Honda, I would've sold it by now. Had the identical car with a 4 cylinder and highe miles that NEVER had a single issue. This V6 version rides and drives much better, but has had more issues like misfires (known issue on V6), bearings, CV joints, and a starter. That's unusual for a Honda as this is my 9th Accord in 30 years. If it wasn't for the misfire issue, I'd give it 5 stars, but once a year I have to replace #2 cylinder spark plug and once every 6 months I have to reset a check engine code using a $20 OBD device from Amazon.

2009 Honda Accord - I love it. Great car for comfort and reliabilit. Very good for a trip. Very smoothe ride.

Honda Accord is a very reliable car. Besides looking nice, it rides well. I am very confident I am driving a well performing car.

Sunny Honda

Pepper

Best car for the money

I have had 2 Honda's. They are awesome. They never break down and keep on running. I had over a 100,000 on my first one. My current Honda has 113,000 and just the other day some asked what year it was. They thought it looked like new. I plan on keeping it for another 100,000. I know it will keep on running.
