Top of the line features at a value price!

Overall, we're very happy with our Tuscon. Hyundai has made great strides over the years. They haven't caught up with Toyota and Honda yet, but we were able to get our Tuscon pretty much fully loaded for much less than what we'd pay for the same features from Toyota or Honda. My car is the 2026 Honda Passport and my wife drives this car. I actually like the responsive cruise control in the Tuscon MUCH better than my Passport. In addition, the Hyundai air conditioned seats is also much better than my Passport and much quieter. One issue with the Tuscon is when it is cold, there is always an annoying rattle in the front left quarter of the car and for the life of me I can't figure out where it is coming from. Honda and Toyota have perfected making their cars "tight" and quiet. The ride of the Tuscon has gotten rougher already and we've only had it for about two years. Other than that, we're happy with our purchase and hope we can drive it for at least 120,000 miles. I like to drive my cars for a very long time.

Vehicle runs well, but bumper coating is curling up already. Hyundai did not provide the 5th Oil Change, even though my mileage was still under 36k miles.

Love it mostly.

I love driving this car. I am short so it is great to have so much visibility through the windshield and the mirrors. The car drives nicely for the most part but I absolutely hate the push button transmission controls and the touch control screen. I feel like these add and element of risk to the whole driving experience. Pushing actual buttons on the radio is less distracting and there is risk of hitting reverse accidentally with the transmission buttons. I wish there were more climate controls for back seat passengers.

Overall solid compact SUV, with only a few hiccups

As the title states, the 2024 Hyundai Tucson is a solid compact SUV. With an excellent ride on the highway or a gravel road, the Tucson has been a pleasure to drive. However, my 2024 Tucson has had a few hiccups that have resulted in lost time at work and weeks without the vehicle I am paying to own. The largest issue has been having to have the battery replaced several times and the local dealerships not being willing or able to find the root cause of it, unless I paid above and beyond what a warranty may cover. By itself, that may deter someone from buying a Tucson, but generally speaking, the service I have received has been top notch, and at least one local dealership has been fantastic to work with any time I have had questions, needed service, or had an issue that needed to be addressed.

Not What It Should Be

Difficult to navigate any of the features. I’ve looked through all the manuals that came with the vehicle and can never find any answers. I never should have traded my perfect 2010 Santa Fe. My Santa Fe was much easier to drive and to handle on the road.

The only problem I have with the Tucson is the engine turning off when it comes to a stop. It seems as if there will be starter issues sooner or later. Othe than that it’s a great vehicle

great little car

Very pleased with my Tucson. Easy to handle, good gas mileage, maintenance is easy and not overly expensive. Visability is good. I prefer a car without a lot of bells & whistles, who needs more things to break, and the Tucson fits that perfectly. This is my third Tucson, I really like the added safety features, alerts when you are changing lanes for blind spots, alerts when you drift out of your lane. Does well in inclement weather. My only issue is the radio/media center, it is unreliable, bounces between media being connected then dropped and Waze is just a hot mess for navigating, connects, doesn't connect, the audio part works but the map freezes.
