Very happy until started having battery issues

I was extremely happy with my car for the first 20 months. Then I started having issues with the battery and have had to call roadside three times so far to get into my car and gave my battery jump started. There seems to be something going on that is draining my battery. I took it in for service once so far for this issue and the dealer could not replicate so no answers so far. I have my second visit to the dealer schedule in a couple of weeks. This is unacceptable for a 2 year old car.

Economical with a bit of flare

Very practical and economical.i consistently get upper 40s for mpg . Just under 60k and the only thing we had to do to it is breaks, tires and the regular maintenance. My next vehicle will likely be another Hyundai. The elantra is a tad small for a family but a great commuter.

Poor after-sales service

I can never go in for maintenance. All service stores require at least a month's appointment. I have owned many brands of cars, and the lengthy after-sales service here makes it difficult for me to recommend people around me to buy Hyundai cars

Three year lease

I've had two Elantras. I would not recommend the hybrid but would recommend the gas powered model.

SAME ISSUE STILL NOT FIXED AND NOW OUT OF WARRANTY

My center vents do not push air out. You can turn on the A/C and it will blow out for about 5-7 seconds then you hear a noise similar to like dropping a book on the floor and then the A/C will not blow out of the center vents. It will on the side vents but very lightly

Excellent practical choice for daily commute

This car is all (or most) of what you would want from a car for daily commuting: it is inexpensive, reliable, has good free maintenance for the first year/12K miles, and has fantastic gas mileage. It drives well, handles well and is quite agile. Looks nice, too. The internal controls could be better, and it is unfortunate that Hyundai goes with its own idea of how cruise control should work (for instance), but these are relatively minor issues. Overall, the car is great.

Love the Car, hate the Horn!

In warmer months I average 61-63mpg. I love everything about the car except the horn. Horn worked great for the first year them both the High and Low horn died. Hyundai replaced it free of charge. The problem - the car is going in again for horn replacement #4.... I'm being told a new updated High/Low horn has been ordered and will be arriving soon. I really hope this 4th replacement will fix the problem. I'm also concerned will I be responsible for the cost of replacement if it dies after the 60,000 warranty ends. Car has 58k.
