A mostly-excellent car

This is my second Hyundai hybrid (I previously had an Ioniq) and I’m very satisfied with it. There are a couple of annoying features: it repeatedly lets you know if your headlights are off when you’re driving (a nuisance in the afternoon) but there’s no alert if you walk away from your parked car and leave the lights on. Also, during cruise control the camera that monitors the distance between you and the car ahead of you is far from perfect; even with no one in front of you the car will slow itself down if the road curves too much. Also, I wish all the doors and trunk would unlock when I get out of the driver’s side door … but with an average of 500 miles to the tank, these are flaw I can live with.

First time Hyundai buyer, but I'm hooked

my primary purchase reason was gas efficiency, but for 30k I couldn't even touch hybrids for the big 3. After using for a year, I'm in love with the brand. So much design and thought is put into everything that base rivals luxury trims on other brands.

Good value for the money.

I had check engine light twice. Repaired first time to replace a sensor and shortly after that I got repeat alert for check engine light and this time there was another sensor defect that had to be replaced. This was not long after the first year of the new car in my possession. I hardly have 6,000miles on this car. Thank God , so far no other problems.

Great mileage, features, and reliability

Love the mileage—I get over fifty/gallon on eco mode. I bought mine new and it came with the Bluelink Hyundai app. This gives me the ability to pre-heat or pre-cool the vehicle before I go out to it, and has become a favorite. Apple CarPlay is good, but to get full functionality you must use a cord. It’s not a luxury vehicle, but for the price (around 25K), it’s a much better value than others manufacturers.
