I bought the Elantra N to use for autocross. It is a fun an competent race car that holds all of my race gear and is economical and comfortable driving to events

Purchased Dream Vehicle, But Parts Availability is Tough.

I have always wanted the Elantra N since it first came out, but was never in the position to purchase one. After working for an automotive group, I finally was able to start looking for the perfect one! The Hyundai dealer owned by the same group I worked for had 7 2025s allocated to them back in November of 2024 and it was the very first time I was able to even drive one. I instantly could not stop smiling and was in shock at how nice everything felt. It was practically all the things I wanted, and everything the review videos on Youtube were true. It was such a blast to drive, and even took the manual transmission on a test drive just to see which one I wanted more. I officially purchased it December 2024, and I've driven 22,400 miles since. It never fails at making me smile when I have the chance to rip around the highway with it. The only gripe I currently have is the parts availability for Hyundai's specialized model. I knew buying the car I'd run into issues of things being stock, but after experiencing rodent damage to the main wiring harness, I've been without the car for 37 days, and am still 2-6 weeks out from the part even possibly arriving. I miss it every day I don't have it, and that's how I know I love it. Thank you Hyundai for making such a special, reasonably priced sporty vehicle.

What a great sports sedan

The Elantra N is easily one of the most fun and entertaining cars I've driven even topping some high end sports sedans. Everything about it is fun and engaging with a level of charm and earnestness that's hard to come by in so many modern cars. It's not the car for someone looking for simple transportation but for those who love driving, it's perfect.

Love it to death even with some quirks.

Hyundai, Your final star will come when octane learning is made more visible or removed entirely. Otherwise, this is my favorite car I’ve ever owned.

Fantastic vehicle overall

Been driving this car for over a year. (6k+ miles, I don't go very far...but I do drive it almost everyday.) I am very happy with my purchase. I love pretty much everything about this vehicle. The exterior look, to me, is eye catching. It stands out of the crowd but not too much as to be considered an eye sore. I love sharp designs. The interior is quite nice and comfortable as long as your aren't too big or old (no offense). I love how the dash is pointed towards the driver. It makes you feel like you are in a cockpit in a way. The sound system is great with a clean bass. I am a bass head but I keep my music low now that I have a crackling exhaust that puts a smile on my face every single time it pops. Even better is that I can close the valve to make it quiet when needed. I love how it was offered in manual. I don't plan on buying any autos as long as manuals are available. I will die on that hill!! Anyway, it is honestly up to the driver what they want/need in a vehicle and for me, the '25 N had pretty much everything! I could add a few features personally but honestly, I would not pick any other car in this current market at this price point. Thank you for such a great experience!

I think the cars should come better built the cheap plastics are bad.. the tires go flat quick, the bumper clips, break easily causes the bumper to stick out from under the headlights. The comfort of the drive could be better also but it’s not bad

Good so far

I don't like how the car locks the doors from outside. It works 20% of the time. Why it can't be locked with the button as you are exiting the car is beyond me. I also don't like how the car has to process the fuel octane. It's a 2025 car. It should function that way. Otherwise I'm happy so far.

My Elantra experience

Overall this car has given me a great driving experience. It’s fun and responsive even after a year of ownership. Not much issues and the car is holding up well, even under spirited driving. I would say the body of the car could be more sturdy. I noticed the hood gap where the hood meets the bumper top it seems warped just after a few months of driving the car. There are also moments where the lcd screen for the temperature readings don’t illuminate making it difficult to see the vehicles climate control information. I would have like to have some features on the manual version that’s included in the automatic such as the sunroof and remote start from the app.

Could be amazing

Fun car that could great, this car could surpass most sport cars but small build quality are too many to ignore especially since they could easily be taken care of by manufacturers. If issues like panel fitment , wind noise, road noise and software problems like drive mode buttons resetting and manual octane learning process needed after refueling , if these could be taken care of I would say it’s would be a better car than the Civic Type R especially for the price discrepancy

Great value for a performance vehicle!

Comes with outstanding features! Bose radio system, light up racing seats, nice suspension, great braking system, powerful motor with programmable options. Very fun car to drive and at a lower price than other comparable car brands with similar type vehicles!

Body

I replaced my front lip 2 times going on the 3rd time. It always pops out and my exhaust valve always gets stuck from opening. Extreme gas eater too.
