Great value for a performance vehicle!

Comes with outstanding features! Bose radio system, light up racing seats, nice suspension, great braking system, powerful motor with programmable options. Very fun car to drive and at a lower price than other comparable car brands with similar type vehicles!

My Elantra experience

Overall this car has given me a great driving experience. It’s fun and responsive even after a year of ownership. Not much issues and the car is holding up well, even under spirited driving. I would say the body of the car could be more sturdy. I noticed the hood gap where the hood meets the bumper top it seems warped just after a few months of driving the car. There are also moments where the lcd screen for the temperature readings don’t illuminate making it difficult to see the vehicles climate control information. I would have like to have some features on the manual version that’s included in the automatic such as the sunroof and remote start from the app.

Could be amazing

Fun car that could great, this car could surpass most sport cars but small build quality are too many to ignore especially since they could easily be taken care of by manufacturers. If issues like panel fitment , wind noise, road noise and software problems like drive mode buttons resetting and manual octane learning process needed after refueling , if these could be taken care of I would say it’s would be a better car than the Civic Type R especially for the price discrepancy

Body

I replaced my front lip 2 times going on the 3rd time. It always pops out and my exhaust valve always gets stuck from opening. Extreme gas eater too.

Great potential ruined by octane learning

Overall, a lot of bang for the buck, but octane learning is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve never been able to actually get it to work, so I’ve never seen more than 15 psi of boost, where I see other people getting 18 or 19 psi. there should be a sensor to determine if you’ve got the proper octane gas, not some 20 minute procedure..

Great car for the price but octane learning is ridiculous. Waste of time and money to have to octane learn all the time multiple times between gas fill ups.

Great car with a couple of downfalls

I love my Elantra N, I am disappointed that in this day and age we can’t have adaptive cruise and wireless CarPlay in every vehicle. Especially with the forward braking assist.

Performance Bargain Hurt by Absurd Software Hurdles

An absolute blast on the road with massive performance for the price. It offers incredible handling and engagement, making it a genuine value for drivers who want pure fun. Octane Learning mechanic is an absolutely ridiculous hassle that actively robs you of the car's full potential. Forces you through a tedious highway ritual just to unlock full boost targets after EVERY SINGLE FILL-UP is absurd especially when the car randomly "unlearns" the fuel profile the very next morning. Hyundai needs to get rid of this software restriction entirely. Factory quality control needs improvement: build quality shows visible body panel gaps and poor alignment on the hood and front quarter panels. Flaky infotainment system: steering wheel N buttons constantly reset to default overnight, requiring frequent, annoying re-mapping.
