Best car I have ever owned!

I bought my car in October 2009. Since that time I have never had a problem with it. I take it to Patterson for oil changes and that's about it. I have almost 99,000 miles on the car. I have thought about buying a new Genesis, but I can't bring myself to part with the current Genesis.

Exceptional Quality Vehicle

I’ve owned this vehicle since it rolled out in 09 and have been completely impressed with its quality, reliability and stylish look. I now have almost 175k miles on it and have not had any major problems. Tires, oil, brakes, and routine maintenance, is all that has been required. I have been disappointed in the fog light bulbs which don’t seem to last much longer that a few months, but beyond that, this car continues to impress.

Genesis's "The Best"

Simply said, this is the best car I've ever owned in my 46 years of car ownership. High performance and low maintenance. It has the style of a luxury automobile and the pick up of a sports car. You get the best of both worlds.

A wonderful vehicle! 10 years of smiles and worry/hassle free driving!

I tried to buy another one, but the 2019's are not available. I wasn't about to pay MSRP, or even close for a year old vehicle driving off the lot. I gave the dealers TrueCar pricing and they would not meet it. A Sale is always better than NO Sale! My 2009 Genesis 5.0 was a beautiful well-built vehicle as I am sure the newer ones are. As close to a perfect car as I have owned. Previous Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, and Infiniti. Sadly, I am not in a new Genesis...but I valiantly tried. Infiniti got my business!

2009 Genesis

This has been an excellent car. I Tried to buy a second Genesis brand new this past summer but when I emailed the Genesis concierge to get a new Genesis I was told it was not available in my market area. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. They deserve to go out of business ! I went to my local Lexus dealer and bought an LS460.

very good car, with good service! We enjoy driving the car: it is smooth, well built, quiet, economical, and we'll probably buy another...later! We have 124,000 miles, and it still runs like new. Good coler, too!

best car ever

It is unique, reliable with timeless design. People do not believe it is a Hyundai and 10 years old. It has the genesis wings displayed, not the flying H or whatever that is. And it uses regular fuel.

Would buy another one.

I bought a 2009 Genesis, in 2010. Nothing has gone wrong with it other than a recall.....which was fixed with no problem. Totally dependable car. I would buy another when it's time. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Genesis - a car for the ages

I've been a Genesis fan since first driving my 2009 Genesis in August 2008. I now have put 150,000 miles on the car with only a minor electrical failure (fuel pump relay) just this past week. Everyone who has ever gone for a ride with me comments how awesome the ride, comfort and quietness of the car is. It's the best car I've ever owned and look forward to my next one. Great car, great value, comfort, performance, luxury and sportiness all wrapped in one car. Awesome!

I love my car. It has a smooth ride. It handles perfect for me. The size is just right. The style is beautiful. The colors are awesome. You don't see the colors of my car often. The interior is brown with dark beige /gold seats. I love it. I also like the screen that comes up covering the back window.

Beautiful car

First time owning a Hyundai, and although I love everything about my Genesis, it I knew about the Equus when I bought it, I would have bought the top of the line Equus. I'm a big man, always need extra room...lol. I do really like the Genesis. Ride, comfort, luxury features, speed of V8, etc. Sold on Hyundai for sure, they make a great car.

Love the comfort and styling. Low Maintenance excellent with gas. Cosmetic problem with Genesis emblem peeling on trunk, dash splitting and factory tint bubble on front driver and passenger. Otherwise excellent proformance

Has been a dependable car. Very luxurious and has many technological features.....

I bought this car used and have had it for about 6-1/2 years. It has many bells and whistles that only the high end cars had, for a more reasonable price. I think this car's a better value than other luxury imports with more down to earth maintence costs.

My Genesis

I have found my 2009 Genesis to be excellent! I brought my car brand new with 5 miles on delivery and having paid cash as I always do it has/is a great investment! Thank God not one issue ever other than regular maintenance and any updates required by Hyundai/Genesis. My car is fully loaded with tech and premium packages and still drives like a dream!

Love my car. I would have another one but hate to turn loose of this one. I have only had to have normal maintenance items performed on this vehicle with the exception of only one issue with vehicle and Hyundai customer service took care of it.

Excellent Vehicle

Purchased this car in 2010 and since I purchased it I really enjoy driving it. I have had very few problems and any problems I have had were quickly resolved by Hyundai. This car is built very well and fun to drive.

It's a great car, but I have been experience way to many repairs, I do have 109,000 miles I have spent from last summer repairs and the current repairs Approximately $ 7000.00

This isn't the car I was looking for when I started looking, but I'm sure glad I have it. It's a great car, had been well-maintained and I'm keeping it that way through the dealership connection. I'd love to have a brand new one! Frequently I have people ask me if I want to sell it. No thanks, unless they are giving me a new one!

Comfort and style

I currently own a blue 2009 Genesis, which I purchased in 2012. The color remains incredible to this day. The sleek style gives the car uniqueness. People do double takes looking at the car. Suspension is far above all other makes and models. Fuel mileage is comfortable. Only downfall is the front wheel drive. Not good in snow, but I’m cool with that. Maintenance isn’t too bad. Extremely satisfied with my Genesis.

2009 Genesis

I inherited this car from my mom with 45K. It has been a strong car mostly except I had a major challenge with an electrical problem. It took a special mechanic to repair the issue. I spent $3K before finally getting the problem fixed for $125. That is why I only gave 4 stars. Also, I have had issues with the opening/closing of the moon roof three times. It is fast and powerful.
