Amazing value

This is my first Hyundai product and everyone is always impressed with it. It looks great inside and out, rides great and has an incredible blend of power and efficiency. What's not to like about 330 hp and almost 30 mpg. It may not handle quite as well as my BMWs or Porsche's, but the ride is awesome. I have 65,000 miles and nothing but maintenance so far.

Mr. & Mrs Smith

We love our 2013 Genesis.. Great Car. -. We do have an issue with a defective electrical component - Our driver side Controls for window/mirror/door locks OFTEN does NOT let us put the windows up or down... Sometimes works - sometimes Not..... Researching our problem - we soon read many many many other 2013 Genesis with the same "sometimes works" window button/controls. - we don't understand "WHY" this is not a Factory ReCall . This Control is over $300.00 + Installation.. new part only limited warranty. Not happy with this electrical defective part. Please consider a Recall on this part. Thank You. Comfort & Quality

The Genisis is a well built vehicle which provides a comfortable ride and useful instrumentation. The safety features are numerous and in plain view. It appears to be designed to provide easy handling with plenty of power to accelerate when needed.

The incredible GENESIS

My 2013 Genesis is the most comfortable and best looking automobile that I have ever owned. I have had 5 Hyundai vehicles and while they are all great, this one is the top of the line. The reason for the 4 star vs a 5 star rating is that although this is Hyundai's top vehicles, it did not contain items such as rear view camera, or GPS. For a 'top of the line" vehicle, I would have expected both of these items, but other than that, I am totally happy with.

It really is a good car! I enjoy driving it and I am happy to have purchased such a fine vehicle. It rides very smoothly! It does need a little outside body work, nothing major. The car seats at least four passengers very comfortablely!

Excellent car in both value and service

I was gladly surprised with this car, put over 50K miles in 5 years with no problems other than a twitchy window switch and a bottom dash pad become nigh unglued from the dashboard ( all fixed under warranty). Other than regular maintenance (oil, filters, wiper blades, and battery) the car was a complete delight. I enjoyed it so much that I sold the 2013 and bought a 2016 sedan to replace it. Just make sure the dealership you buy from is up to par in my experience Hyundai/Genesis dealerships in both sales and service matters is where Hyundai must improve. Genesis will never be a luxury brand if they continue to be sold at Hyundai dealerships. Luxury car sales require a level of attention and service which is not available at your regular Hyundai dealership.

Great car

Love the car. Seat belt connect had to be replace. Truck connect had to be replace. Leather in the center front has started to come apart. Little to no maintenance is required. I have only 50,000 miles on my car and the leather should not be cracking this soon. Aside for these areas. great car.

Comfort & Quality

Comfortable ride and it appears to be a quality build vehicle with great performance and pickup. Navigation system should be simplified to be more user friendly. Certain features on the steering column are to close to the steering wheel thereby, being hit accidentally and unintentionally.

Wise Purchase

After almost six years I still enjoy driving my 2013 Genesis. It handles well; is roomy and comfortable; sound system is great; dashboard design is simple, not gaudy; has aesthetic appeal; great acceleration and power.

My Genesis

I like my 2013 Genesis, but, my 2012 was a more well built and performed better. I think now that they are a little over priced and quality isn’t as good. I like the new style of the 2019 G series but pricing is off.

This is probably the best vehicle I have ever owned

The car is smooth, comfortable and quick. My only complaint is that the clear coat on the plastic parts is peeling off and I have been told that because I have more than 60K miles on the vehicle they won't do anything about it. Otherwise this is an excellent car and I would recommend purchasing a Genesis in the future

Rating my HYUNDAI GENESIS at 63,000 miles

Good car , Quality 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. Its consider to be a luxury sport car . 4dr leather interior heated seats 3.8 engine 24 valve. 8speed transmission. Great soundsystem with navigation Lexicon 17 speakers. Driver and passenger window power up and down windows. Overall a good car .I would purchase another one if I had too .I love the body style of this model. In the sport tune suspension is great on the Highway.

Auto performance

Very dependable I have not had any issues so far. It’s very comfortable, stylish.good on fuel. I get so many compliments on the paint job it is silver & it has so much shimmer, no other car I’ve ever owned has this type of paint.

So happy I bought this vehicle

I’m a big car guy. I like SUV’s and Minivans for their utility but for my preference a car this size is perfect. It’s interior space is great. The cabin is wide and comfortable. It’s also relaxing as it’s not overly done with the electronics and unnecessary features. It drives and rides smoothly. It accelerates nicely and has a ton of cargo space in the trunk. It’s body style is beefy and attractive and people always give me compliments about how pretty the car is and it’s stock. The only aggravating feature or non feature is no folding back seat, just a small door or hatch in the armrest that leads to the trunk for long items such as skis or lumber. Other than than a great value.

Great Car for the Money

The only reason it did not get 5 Stars is the Fact their stupid Attorneys told them that we should have to tap the Menu Button before the Warning of how not to do dumb things while driving with the GPS. Keep the Attorneys and the Bean-counters the Hell away from making ANY Decisions about Cars and their Purpose!!!!

Air Conditioning below par

Since bought, the AC has performed very poorly. In several instances, when temperature hot, feel embarrassed with people riding in car because the AC takes so long to balance the temperature as everyone is sweating.

Genesis is the BEST

I have had very minor problems with the vehicle -- which I LOVE! And the Service Department is always provided me with superior customer service. I was a devoted Toyota owner, until now. Wouldn't have any other vehicle.
