2015 Genesis Review
This is my 2nd Genesis. I bought a new 2009 model and loved it. Recently, I wanted some of the features of a newer car - blind spot detection, rear camera, etc. so naturally, I returned to to Hyundai for a 2015 model. Overall, I was disappointed in several aspects, one of which annoys me EVERY DAY.
My biggest gripe is the front driver's seat, it is, by far, the most uncomfortable seat of ANY car I have owned. Bar none. When I talked to Hyundai America about this, I was told to check with a dealer to see if there was anything that could be done. Dealerships just tend to shrug their shoulders. The problem is the seat part you sit on is HARD AND VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I'm about ready to give up on Genesis because of it.
Other notes: Driving Mode: I like to drive in Eco mode. Why on earth do I have to put it in Eco mode every time I start the car? Seems to me that whatever mode you select should stay in that mode until you select a different mode.
Interior function display. I think you're trying to do too much with the function displays which ends up with everything cluttered. For example the functions are victims of redundancy. EX: I have two clocks one digital and one analog. I don't need two clocks. I have audio, etc controls both on steering wheel and on other displays ..so many of those are redundant. Don't need all that . SIMPLIFY!
