Great SUV that needs to be polished

Loved the car, however, the fact that Hyundai started doing the same as other brands do by removing powered third row among others took away the bright that this brand once had. On top, the removal of the maintenance was a blunder. I feel like I bought a Toyota or Honda that they charge for everything. We wanted one specific SUV that dealer didn’t have and dealers are ridiculous with their predatory practices. I have been with this brand since 2016 four five leases, but think is time to move on.

Excellent 3 row SUV

We wanted a three row SUV that had the space to adequately put people in the third row. The Palisade does that with great leg room and head room. The Hybrid power train is superb, very smooth and surprisingly quick when you want to accelerate on to the expressway.

Love My Palisade

I had rented a few Palisades in the past, but when I started searching for a new SUV, I started with the Santa Fe, along with 3 other competitors. Somewhere along the way, met someone who had just purchased the Palisade, and I looked inside their car. That was all it took. I went back to the Hyundai dealer (my 5th trip) drove the Palisade Hybrid, and fell in love. It is an awesome car. I only have 500 miles on my car, but it is a great car. If you were to compare it to the Lexus RX for features and size, you get so much more for your money with the Calligraphy, and pay so much less.

Overall I think a great value for the capabilities.

Better than 30 mpg city. Heavy with AWD, so good snow / wet performance and safety. Nice styling in and out. The software that manages the CarPlay by Bluetooth clearly has issues and needs a bug fix so that once set up, remains so.

2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid Caligraphy

We had a 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited but was totaled in an accident (other driver was ticketed). We got this one to replace it. I researched the car and its everything that the internet says it is. It’s a beautiful car. It’s actually a larger car than the old one but because the mirrors fold in it fits in our garage. I am still learning new things about it. The only bad thing about it is that there is no spare, just a tire repair kit. The 2020 was instrumental in my coming out with only a few bruises and scrapes.

Great Car

This vehicle is a replacement for our Kia Sorento which we loved (except for leg room in front). The Palisade pushes all buttons the right way. We are happy with our gas mileage with the hybrid. Legroom in front is excellent. All of the driver assist features (of which there are many) are helpful. Our only negative is where the forward looking camera button is located. It’s a stretch to reach, and at 6’6” my arms are fairly long.

Comfortable but a little loud and not getting mileage expected

It has all the bells and whistles you can ask for, which is nice. We even discovered the onboard dash cam while looking through youtube videos. I have to say though, the engine is a bit loud and we are not happy with the mileage it's getting (averaging around 27mph), especially for a hybrid. Otherwise, everything seems to be working fine and we have not been back to the dealer to fix anything.

Great ride and quiet. Crossing my fingers on Reliability.....

Everyone that gets in the Palisades is impressed with its Quietness and Refinement. This is a very comfortable ride w/ design features that lead the class. Our only concern is "Reliability". Will the vehicle hold up over time? There are some real "horror stories" out there where the car simply will not start or the wide screen goes blank.... Well; only time will tell~~~ We are at 5000 miles and "so far, so good". :-)

High Quality Vehicle

Never thought of buying a Hyundai until I went with my daughter when she bought a 2026 Genesis. Was looking for an mid-size SUV to fit my 6'5" body. I was sold on the GMC Acadia Denali until I visited the Hyundai dealer and saw the 2026 Palisade Calligraphy. Test drove it and knew right away this was for me, loaded with features I'm still getting used to. Only had it 3 months and loving every time I get behind the wheel. KUDOS to Hyundai!

Love this over the Kia

We’ve had 2 Kia Tellurides and looked at the 2027. New body style is too square. We looked at this 2026 Calligraphy Palisade and absolutely prefer it over the Kia. Better leather seating, power folding back seating for extra space in cargo hold, so much tech on screen, etc. A few things come to mind that I would change: automatic change of driver from key fob recognition, auto lock doors after exiting vehicle, more cup holders for front and 2nd row seats, better interior color options (brown is ugly), camera ability to change to vehicle color from white.

Screen already cracked

The screen is a beauty, but I walked out of church and sat in my car to a crack running all the way accross my screen. I called the Hyundai place, they said claim in on insurnace. They didn't offer to see if it was a manufactor defect or not. I forsee this to be a problem with this new model. I cannot recommend this car to anyone. Who wants a cracked screen all the way accross the spedometer and radio?
