This vehicle is an excellent car choice for long commutes. I get close to an average of 40 mpg. Only have to fill up every other week.

Great Vehicle

I've had my Sonata Hybrid for 2 years now. Never had a problem with it. Previously I drove a Chevy Avalanche for 10 years - so my first positive impression was the gas mileage. I'm averaging 42-43 mpg in around town driving. Last year I took my daughter out to the airport and back, 75 miles round trip, and averaged 53 mpg. The Sonata has a large interior space, my friends are always impressed at how big it is inside. The fold down back seats opens up the cargo area a lot - I carry my bicycle easily (with the front wheel removed). Acceleration and power are more than adequate to drive up I-70 into the mountains. One of my early concerns about buying a hybrid was the battery. I had read that other hybrids get about 125,000 miles before the battery must be replaced at a high cost. Hyundai guarantees their battery for as long as you own the car - they will replace it for free. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

Nice car!

My 2016 Sonata Limited Hybrid is a very nice vehicle and , in my opinion, well worth the price. Driving in the "economy" mode gives me better than expected mileage, averaging 40 mpg, however it provides less power than desired at times. To me, the trade-off is worth it. All in all, the safety features that come with the vehicle, plus the gas mileage, make me feel that I made the right choice in the purchase of the car.

My Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is SWEET!

I love my Sonata Hybrid! It is sleek, classy, so easy to drive, and it keeps me safe! I love the onboard navigation that helps me get around blocked roads. Everything I need is at my fingertips! And the gas mileage is unbelievable!

My Sonata SE Hybrid

For the money this car costs, the features that come on it and the mileage it gives you, buyers should be looking at it a little bit closer. We don't live in a world of perfect driving conditions but getting 38 to 40 mpg on the highway with a car this size and weight, carrying 2 people with luggage, makes me very happy about my purchase. The mileage range on a full tank off gas is over 500 miles. Check out the warranty too. I am a happy owner.

I have nothing but praise for my Sonata

I am very thankful for my Sonata, its response is sporty, it is a very smart car, that amazes me at times, for example, it won't let me lock the car if I leave the keys inside the car, it's a small thing but those small things add up, and if you've ever locked your keys in the car, it's a nice feature. It's one of many, many thoughtful ways this car was designed and built. I have the hybrid and it is good on gas, in fact, it took me awhile to condition myself from thinking I needed to go to the gas station as frequently as I used to. Anyways, before I go overboard, just know that I love my Sonata Hybrid.

Very,very,very poor resale value. The deprecation value is horrible. Hyundai holds no value. When a person buys a Hyundai you must plan on having forever. The vehicle deprecated %50 in one year when 15,000 miles, horrible...

This car is surprisingly comfortable and of high quality. Fuel economy is better than rated. I test drove many cars before this and I would state this is on par with audi A6 and MB E350
