My Hyundai Veloster

This was a car I wanted for many years and I've spent a lot of time working on my financials in order to make it work. This year I was finally able to purchase my Veloster and I couldn't be more happy with the way she drives. Every aspect of the car is to my liking and I wouldn't want to be driving any other car every day.

2020 Veloster

Prior to purchasing my '20 Veloster from Larson's I owned a a 2009 Saturn Sky which was standard, which was my preference. My Sky was totaled in11/18 which broke my heart as well as other body parts. The Sky which had a Corvette engine turned sideways has a very quick pickup After healing and being permitted to drive I bought a used 2014 Veloster and was sent to Larson for immediate servicing. I l-oved the car but I couldn't trust it; it had a problem--excessive oil use and I experienced two close mishaps which were very dangerous--so, I took it back to Larson's because Hyundai of America refused to repair it--I even agreed to share the repair costs, so I gave it back to Larson's and bought the 2020. I think I have the same quickness, agility and safety my Sky had--at half the cost. However, the Veloster has an automatic transmission but I still like it--on the way to loving it.

Hatch back that feels like rally car.

This thing feels like a car from the 1980s not an ordinary car but one from a time when rally was great, sure it doesn’t have the speed but it has the design sound and handling. The car needs a little work done but if you don’t want to do the work it still is a beautiful car to look at.

Fun hot hatch

I got the hyundai veloster turbo r-spec new off the lot. It is a great daily driver that brings a lot of fun to the usual mundane driving experience. Its quick and maneuverable, and excellent in cornering. Would certainly recommend to someone looking for a fun car that wont set you back too much financially.

SO. MUCH. FUN!

1.6 ltr turbo with the performance package, so much fun to drive! Hugs curves and gives the bumpy ride you would expect in a lowered sports car. The Infinity stereo system is awesome and the leather/cloth red striped sport bucket seats are very comfortable!

Great car

I would recommend this car for anyone who is in need of a small car. This car can fit you even if you have kids. It rides smooth when you are on a rough road. You can’t hear any road noise. You can have a sporty feel and still save money at the pumps. This car can get some serious gas mileage. If you want sports car, you have that also. The back seat is roomy enough to put two kids with car seats or booster seats. The trunk is roomy and it come with a privacy cover so no one can see in the trunk area. I have the turbo which is even better. More gas mileage. As I said I would recommend this to anyone needing a car.

Great Performance Bang for Your Buck.

I absolutely love this car’s versatility! It can haul a surprising amount of things, has a 3rd door for easy backseat access for my kid, and hauls a$$ when in N Mode. And for 30kish msrp, you really do get a lot of performance and driver customizability that seems to be only found in higher priced performance cars. Because of all this performance, the interior is mostly hard plastic, and you don’t get many modern safety or comfort features. Both the shifter unit and steering wheel exceed my expectations in feel and smoothness when driving spiritedly, and the exhaust when the valve is open is unsuspectingly loud with pops and crackles galore, which really adds to the experience of this car. If you’re looking for a do it all performance car and don’t mind sacrificing creature and safety features for an incredible driving experience day in and day out, I highly recommend this vehicle. Dealership interaction has been terrible since owning, so be aware of their shenanigans. Hyundai has this rep for a reason though. Other than that, my only other complaint is the thin paint.

Nice fun car to drive even for a tall guy. The buying process was smooth but still took a little too long in my opinion but the dealership has been much faster with maintenance and make that a breeze. This is my first Hyundai and I'm enjoying it so far the recall is a lil worrying though

Best day to day sports car

I worked in dodge specifically with SRT for over a year and picked this over the challenger and Alfa. One major thing I love is the rev matching it allowed for an easier daily driving experience with a manual, and a high edge on performance track driving. I’m over 6ft tall and have more comfortable left room in this than a challenger.

my 3rd Veloster

This is my 3rd Veloster in 8 years. First purchased in 2013, traded that one for a 2016 in 2016 and now traded that one for a 2020 Ultimate. Wanted to look at the N model but none were available at the time of purchase.

Fun, Great Ride, and Easy on the Eyes

I've had this car for a year at this point and I'm very satisfied. The Veloster is fun to drive, the interior is comfortable and sporty, the tech is easy to use, and I've had a great experience at the local Hyundai dealership. I'm not a tall guy, no kids, and weather is mostly nonexistent near me, so this car has been perfect.

Love this little car!

This is my second Veloster and love it better than the first. They made many valuable improvements. The new color choices are very good. The turbo has been improved, the ride is comfortable. I love the larger door on the driver side and the double-door on the passenger side design.

Best Car for the Money

For the price you pay for this car, it is unmatched. Adjustable suspension, steering, Rev matching, throttle response, exhaust, traction control. Yes, all of that is adjustable all through the infotainment. You can set your preferences for EVERY setting and set it through two clicks of a button on the steering wheel. One of the best sounding 4 cylinders on the market. THE BEST 4 cylinder exhaust to come on any car. I thought this would be a 2 year max car, now I don’t want to sell it.

If you are looking for a fun car and willing to give up some fuel mileage I would recommend this vehicle. The car zips around corners and takes off like a bat out of hell. Overall a very good vehicle considering.

Fun on four wheels

I bought the Veloster R Spec because I wanted a car that was sporty and fun to drive without breaking the bank. Little does Hyundai know that I got the better end of the deal. Every time I get into my little car I get a smile on my face. From the look of the car to the way it drives, I love it all.

Dependable and fun

I have owned 2 Veloster's. It's a fun car stylish and has power.,For a 4 cylinder. Veloster front wheel drive handles very well in the snow. Blue link is a wonderful addition. I would definitely purchase another Veloster.
