It is a basic model and we are satisfied

we are satisfied, my 2011 Veloster had a electrical issue it was returned 3 times to the dealer and stayed ther 3 months. Dealer could not repair, however I think they did everything they could. Problem was no and I repeat no help or asistance from the manufacturer and that is Hyundai. However the Apple valley Hyundai made me an offer that was too good to pass up on a 2020 Veloster. The dealer did everything they could. They contacted Corporate Hyundai many times and were informed there was no field engineer available.And now I am faced with an engine recall on the 2020 Veloster.

Good car, terrible company

The car is great. The Hyundai company is not. I cannot recommend the car as I would never recommend anyone to deal with this company. Bought out my lease for months ago, still waiting for the title. Can only contact the department in question by fax or snail mail. Everytime I call they have messed up something else. Horrendous.

Great ride

I rented a Veloster while my previous car was being repaired. I knew within minutes this was going to be my next car. I love the feel and look of it. I was then lucky to get the preferred color and all the amenities. It’s a great ride.

Sport car enthusiast.

The car it's fun to drive, it's fast and have a nice design. My concern it's about the Turbo. Looks likes it's not doing the job. When choose the Sport option, The engine sounds more powerful but feel the punch of the Turbo :(

The Veloster N DCT came out

10/10 but wanted Veloster N DCT Basically all there is to say, I loved the vehicle, great styling, decent performance, and I can’t drive a manual and the Veloster N didn’t have the DCT option when I purchased this car

this is my second hyundai

this car is fun to drive although it lacks performance, I don't have the turbo version, and yet I still cant get close to the sticker MPG. my sonata (RIP) had better gas mileage with a larger engine. if you're considering the Veloster get the Nspec or the turbo.

Great daily driver and back road racer

Overall a great little car. What it lacks in HP it makes up for in handling. The interior is nice and the seats are decent and will do alright on a 1400 mile trip. The road noise at highway speed is disappointing.

Think twice before you purchase!

Cheapest windshield - the pitting is horrible, everything chips and the glass cracks from side to side - check out the complaints and I believe even a class action suit. Steering is very stiff making it work to drive, not relaxing. Phone charging plate gets so hot it overheats phone.

Great car if not so many problems

Car had an issue of just turning off for no reason. Took it in for service and they said they couldn’t replicate it. I told them to drive it for about an hour and it will happen. They had my car for almost two weeks before I got it back. I’m was a loose wire going to the battery. While it was there I told them to check a clicking noise coming from the front wheel. Sounded like an axle. Again they said they couldn’t find anything. Now it sounds like the wheel is about to fall off and I don’t want to take it to get fixed because they will have my car forever again.

Disappointed in Hyundai

For a new car, I should have never had to leave it with no courtesy vehicle for a month. Additionally, Hyundai dealers downplay my concerns with the vehicle every time I try to mention something. I regret this purchase. Paid it in full off the lot too.

Don’t recommend

Blind spots are awful in this car, my power steering chip went out in the middle of me driving down the highway, (2020) Veloster.. scariest thing that’s happened to me in awhile. They had no answer on why it went out, just lucky my son was not in the car.

Car has been a blast to own. A fun little hot hatch that can also be used as a grocery getter or to transport you and your friends around town! However the paint on my vehicle was absolutely awful. I made the mistake of buying in the winter and not going over the vehicle prior to purchase (learned my lesson)

Fun but issues over 50,000 miles

A lot of fun to drive. A lot of features and stuff and the inside and out look great. But the issues I’ve had with this car are deff the same I’ve read with the automatic. So if your looking for a car that will last and a automatic with out issues this isn’t the car for you. I’ve had nothing but problems after 40,00.

Disappointed, but Fun

Very disappoint at how my engine recall has been handled. Calling for information about concerns for my car don't seem to be very informative. The car itself is very fun to drive and is decently priced.

Deadly red coffin

Hyundai Veloster is the most toxic deadly car you will ever buy. The interior of the car smelled so strongly of chemicals that no ozone treatment, “backing” it in Death Valley heat, charcoal bags, an air purifier designed for home use, absolutely nothing could make it off gas. I started having anaphylactic reactions in the car. I couldn’t drive it. Corporate dismissed my case despite three doc notes advising me not to use the car. I sold it 9 months later at a loss of 9 k. This car should be illegal. Shame on Hyundai for using toxic ingredients and not assisting me with this issue. The worst experience of my life.

Engine replaced at 3th month of purchase brand new velostser. I hope it doesnt keep braking if not im looking for legal help. Its unfair that i am paying for a repaired car instead of a new one. What do you think
