Excellent friendly service and dependable service on repairs
WIth our last visit is the first time we have had an issue and the repair failed. Key stays lodged in ignition switch will not release ignition switch replaced the key is still lodged in ignition repair failed to correct the issue.

They worked with me
My vehicle was there for a while but at no fault to them, the engine part was on backorder with no ETA from hyundai due to a recall. When i got it back the airbag light was on, which, since i had to fix my old beater to continue working, didn’t click with me right away, but i drove it a few miles down the highway before realizing it shouldnt be on and turned around to have them scan it. Turns out one of the side impact sensors went bad while it was on their lot, and because of this they worked with me on halving the price of the repair and parts. Apparently this can happen (likely because of plastic and rubber parts going bad). They even tried providing me with a loaner twice, but unfortunately for me, as a delivery driver, i could not use it to work so i had no interest in even taking their loaner since i was sure someone else could probably get more use out of it.

Took a really long time for them to finally fix my vehicle
My vehicle went in for.a “failing engine” as they put it. Guy at autozone said it was a misfire but i didn’t believe him. Apparently there was a recall sent out for the 2016 sonata hybrids about the connecting rod in the engine and i think that was the issue. It still took just about 2 months for them to get all the parts and get it fixed. When i got the vehicle back, the AIRBAG light was on. WHY? I asked them about it and they all said none of the work performed should have screwed up the airbag system. They said it was possible for the sensor to just “go out on its own” even though i had no issues with it in the 95k miles i drove the vehicle, apparently it just “went out on its own” while sitting in their repair lot for 2 months. Oh, did i mention they tried hooking me up with a rental? Then when i got there they told me i couldn’t use it for delivery purposes. Unfortunately that is my job, i am a delivery driver. So, thanks for wasting my time.

Service Department Lacking in Customer Service Skills
No one meets you at your vehicle in the service bay. Even after you go inside, no one looks up until you ask for assistance. Vehicle interior returned dirtier than when dropped off. This is not the first time here at Eckert and appears to be a pattern with the service department. I have owned two Sonata's, one Santa Fe and one Azera and previously dealt with Van and Huffines Hyundai and both were outstanding in their customer service and quality of work.

You can buy a car, just don't expect to ever use the service department.
The service department here is absolutely terrible, they don't know how the use the online scheduling service that they provide on their own website, and they never have loaner cars.

The sales team is absolutely wonderful though!

All Vehicles were already reserved for previous reservations this late in the day as we close at 6:30 Pm. 

On the said day we did not have any loaner car available, generally, we need a 2-3 day lead time to make a loaner reservation. In this particular case, you made the reservation at 6:17 PM (we close at 6:30 PM.) for the following morning and they were not any available. I do understand your frustration and if you would like to call I would be happy to discuss it with you.

Not very personable
I guess I am used to a better quality of service, ie as being met and greeted when I drop off my car. Also, I was told that the service would be an hour when I called to see how long it would take and it ended up being 3 1/2. I did not plan for this.
