Please by all means bring your vehicle back, we don't want you to experience these concerns anymore than you want them. The manufacture has specific parameters that we must follow and, one of the said procedures is whats called audible sound test, this is performed with a microphone into your crankcase. Here is the concern the test will not operate until engine has reached normal operation temperature. So if you could please reschedule for a later date when vehicle could be left for a couple days if possible. We understand the frustration, we also will help to resolve your concern.
Dale, I apologize sir , we thought your recall for the ecm update took care of the check engine light, it was a history code for the knock sensor at the time. That is precisely what the ecm campaign addressed. Again i do apologize if you are still having a concern by all means please come by and i will get it looked at quickly.

I apologize you had a bad experience sir. I assure you that is not our intention. As far as the campaign on your vehicle, we are told it is a software update to make the knock sensor more sensitive, that is all we currently know. again i apologize it is not our intent to mislead anyone.

I apologize sir, we should have communicated this better. I have trained my personnel to always check and see if tires have a lower tread in front then in the rear then rotate them. If there is no advantage to the customer, explain that to them and if they still want them rotated, do so.

I apologize for the mis communication, that was not done to mislead you intentionally. When the vehicle arrived we tried to jump start the vehicle and we were unsuccessful in doing so. upon further diagnosis of the said problem, we had found the connection was bad. Then re-tried to jump and it then did start with no issues. I do apologize, we did a poor job of communicating.
