The techs at Barney's always do really good work, I'm just really disappointed with how the payment was handled. I got quoted a big sum up front for my car repairs (~$2700), and I said I could pay it as long as they could assure me there would be no surprise expenses - the tech I spoke to said I should be good, because they already had all but one part in stock and the last part was on its way. A few days later I get a call that they forgot to quote me for one of the $300 hubs, and that I need to pay for it because I really need to have it installed. I asked if I could get some kind of discount for the surprise expense, since my total was now around $3000, and the best they could offer me was $20 off which was kind of offensive. I didn't really get any acknowledgement that it's a big deal to insist a customer needs to pay an extra $300 that they weren't expecting
