2016 Subaru Forester Limited
I researched for several months before ordering my Forester. I compared Outbacks to Foresters and relied on Consumer Report's analyses to determine the best vehicle to go in the snow and muck.
I chose the Limited because it has Eyesight, Harman Kardon sound, Leather seats, Keyed ignition, Hand operated Emergency Break and CD player. I wanted to have the 2.5 Liter engine with no Turbo charger and the engine has not used a drop of oil in 73,000 miles.
I'm constantly besieged by offers to upgrade but I prefer the security of a hand break in the event of a loss of hydraulic breaking ability, being able to insert the CD I want to listen to, the peace of mind that I've a better chance of my car being where I parked it if the key is in my pocket, as a keyless fob can be easily hacked and I don't have those discussing swollen lumps in my steering wheel!
I've read reviews of new Foresters and the accounts of the improved suspension, I long to find a smoother ride over Salt Lake City's horrendously designed streets with the man hole covers being depressed 2 inches and in the tread line instead of the middle of the lane but until they put all of the good items I've enumerated into the new Foresters, I'll keep the one I have.
