Honest Opinion
I took my 1999 Honda Accord in for an issue with hesitation in acceleration and/or gear engagement. After looking at my car, they informed me that my transmission was leaking and low on fluid. Based on year and mileage, they did not recommend that I fix or replace the transmission because of cost. I suspect that many repair shops would try to convince you that it needed to be replaced or repaired and transmissions are not inexpensive. I appreaciate the honesty.
